My Love, You Can't Feel It

Ji Minze got into the car waiting for him outside the airport.

"Go directly back to the company," Cui Zijun said to Dongfang Hao in the driver's seat, his tone a bit tired.

"President, if you want to know any news about the child, I will help you gather it," Cui Zijun said after starting the car.

"No need. The Tang family will take good care of him," Ji Minze sighed and said. He didn't want Yiren to have any misunderstandings. After all, Yiren didn't have a child yet and was prone to overthinking.

Cui Zijun didn't say anything more. He understood Ji Minze's concerns.

When Ji Minze returned to the company, he heard the receptionist report to him that Yiren was already in his office.

"Yiren, have you been waiting for a long time? I went out this afternoon," Ji Minze walked into the office and said apologetically to Yiren, who was sitting on the sofa.

"It's okay. Did you go out to inspect the work this afternoon?" Yiren asked, pretending to be indifferent, but in her heart, she was constantly pleading for Ji Minze not to lie.

If you lie to me, we're completely over!

"Yes," Ji Minze paused for a moment and then replied. He chose to hide the truth!

If he told Yiren that he had gone to see off Tang Lei and her child in the afternoon, he didn't know how Yiren would react. It was better to pretend that nothing had happened than to let her misunderstand.

"Zijun, I have something I want to talk to Minze about. I wonder if you can postpone your business matters?" Yiren looked at Cui Zijun and asked.

"Of course! Then I'll go back to my office first," Cui Zijun glanced at Ji Minze and replied, then opened the door and walked out, closing the door behind them.

After the door closed, Yiren walked up to the vase where the flowers had just been arranged, reached out, and took out the bouquet of flowers that Ji Minze had specially ordered for her in the morning. Then she threw it fiercely in front of Ji Minze.

"Yiren!" Ji Minze looked at Yiren's actions in shock.

"You went to see off them, the mother and son, this afternoon. So you felt sorry for me and sent me flowers, right?" Yiren looked up and stared into Ji Minze's eyes, her gaze filled with sorrow and despair.

"It's not what you think," Ji Minze walked over.

"Don't come any closer!" Yiren stepped back and screamed. "I've already given you a chance, but you actually lied to me! Everything you said last night was a lie too, right? You told such a touching story to make me believe you. Anyway, I can't remember anything, so you can make up whatever you want!"

"Yiren, please don't be like this! The truth is not what you think. I just didn't want you to misunderstand," Ji Minze said痛苦地. The misunderstanding he had tried so hard to avoid had instead become a fuse.

"I'm not misunderstanding! If you want to be with her, why make it so complicated? Just say it directly. I won't pester you!" Yiren's eyes filled with tears tugged at her heart and also stung his.

"I've never thought that way. I did go to see off them, the mother and son, this afternoon because Tang Rui told me that Tang Lei was going to settle in the UK with the child. I felt that I owed them, the mother and son, a lot, so I went to see them off," Ji Minze explained.

"Why don't you give yourself to them too?" Yiren said resentfully. Ji Minze's explanation was like a sharp knife stabbing deeply into her heart.

"It's not at all what you think. Damn it, get rid of all your wild imaginations! I'm yours, not theirs!" Ji Minze said angrily. He wouldn't allow Yiren to misunderstand his feelings for her like this.

"Don't yell at me. From now on, whose you are doesn't matter to me anymore! You're finally free, and so am I!" Yiren said desperately.

She picked up her bag, bypassed Ji Minze, and was about to walk out.

"Have you never believed in me? Have you never loved me?" Ji Minze turned around and asked sorrowfully behind Yiren.

"If I love you but you can't feel it, then what's the use of me saying I love you no matter how many times? If you love me but I can't feel it, then what's the point of us being together?" Yiren said, raising her head, trying to hold back the tears that were about to fall.

She opened the door and walked out.

This door didn't just close the figures of the two people; it also closed their two hearts.

Yiren walked downstairs dejectedly, not even hearing the receptionist and the doorman greeting her.

She kept walking forward, as if she couldn't hear the hustle and bustle of the world. She didn't even realize that her bag had been taken away and still kept walking.

Finally, she walked all the way from the Perfetto Building to the Long Mansion. Her whole person became empty, and she didn't even recognize the maid.

The maid greeted her, but she blurted out: Who are you? Then she lost consciousness!

Can you see my lonely tears? The fish said to the water: I will never leave you because without you, I can't survive. The water said to the fish: I know, but what if your heart isn't with me?I'm not a fish, and you're not water. I don't leave you because I love you. But, do you have me in your heart?
