The next day at work,
Yi Ren seemed to deliberately avoid Ji Minze. Except for delivering documents, she didn't say a single extra word.
Before, Ji Minze was the one who was stingy with words, but now it was her.
"Secretary Yi, bring me the monthly report," Ji Minze said on the internal phone.
"Okay," Yi Ren hung up the phone, picked up the just-organized monthly report file, and walked towards the president's office.
In the president's office,
"President, here's the information you asked for. If there's nothing else, I'll go back to work," Yi Ren said, placing the file on the corner of Ji Minze's desk.
Then she turned to leave.
"Yi Ren!"
Ji Minze called out to her, and her body stiffened.
He had never directly called her by her name in the workplace before.
"President, is there anything else?"
Yi Ren turned around, still keeping her head down and asked.
"I'm going on a business trip to France next week and might not be back until two weeks later," Ji Minze said.
Yi Ren looked up at Ji Minze.
"I understand, President. I'll prepare your itinerary and all the necessary materials. Then I'll go back to work," Yi Ren almost fled in a hurry from the president's office.

Ji Minze was on a business trip, and Dongfang Hao went with him. Cui Zijun was in charge.
Her work didn't change much. She still did what she had to do. But she suddenly felt that the top floor was much quieter.
There was no simple greeting every morning, and there was no fragrant coffee. What she had to do seemed even simpler. She just needed to deliver the documents Cui Zijun needed to the president's assistant's office and finish the work he assigned.
She found that she was actually starting to miss Ji Minze,
this man who was married and deeply in love with his wife.
After work, she went to find Cheng Yuxuan because she was in a bad mood.
In Cheng's family's taekwondo training room, Yi Ren had already changed her clothes and was waiting for Cheng Yuxuan, her training partner.
Her taekwondo skills improved every year, and she should thank Cheng Yuxuan, her training partner. No matter when and where, as long as she needed him, he would always be there without fail.
"My cousin isn't bad by nature," Cheng Yuxuan thought that Yi Ren was in a bad mood because of what happened at the Tang family's house that day during their break.
"I know. It's just that she lost her true nature because of love," Yi Ren said while wiping the sweat off her face.
"Do you plan to stay single like this?" Cheng Yuxuan asked.
"There's nothing wrong with that. I feel very free," Yi Ren said. As she said this, Ji Minze's melancholy eyes flashed through her mind. "Damn it! Let's go again. I'm going to make you beg for mercy!" Yi Ren suddenly exclaimed excitedly.
"I didn't do anything to you," Cheng Yuxuan said warily.
"You're my training partner," Yi Ren said with a crafty smile.
"Training partner, yes, but not a punching bag," Cheng Yuxuan jumped to a safe area and said.
"Come here," Yi Ren said with her hands on her hips.
"No," Cheng Yuxuan stood in a corner and smiled.
"Then I'll tell Xi'er..." Yi Ren said with an ambiguous smile.
"What are you going to tell that shrew?" Cheng Yuxuan frowned and asked.
"I'll tell her that you called her a shrew," Yi Ren laughed heartily.
"You really want to stir up trouble," Cheng Yuxuan said helplessly and walked to the center.
"Forget it. Seeing you look like you're about to be punished, I'm not interested anymore. That's enough for today. I'll go change my clothes," Yi Ren said with a look of being pleased with herself. Then she walked out of the taekwondo training room.
After taking a shower and changing her clothes, Yi Ren and Cheng Yuxuan sat on the rocking chairs in the backyard of Cheng's family's house, leisurely drinking juice.
"What do you think of Ji Minze?" Cheng Yuxuan asked.
"What are you up to? You know he's a married man, and he has such a complicated love life," Yi Ren looked up and said.
"I didn't say anything. I just asked for your impression of him," Cheng Yuxuan said indifferently.
"He's a successful man in his career," Yi Ren said.
"Anything else?"
"He's too kind," Yi Ren said.
"Why do you say that?"
"He doesn't want to hurt anyone because he's too kind, but that's also his biggest weakness. In the end, he might end up hurting everyone," Yi Ren explained.
"You're worried that he can't solve the problem with my cousin and the child," Cheng Yuxuan said.
"Why should I be worried? It has nothing to do with me. But it's also the truth," Yi Ren turned her head and said.
"If it were before, he wouldn't have said those words to my cousin because he knew it would hurt her. But he did say it that night. He's become more decisive," Cheng Yuxuan looked at a rosebush not far away and said.
"What did he say that day?" Yi Ren asked in confusion.
"Yi Ren is my wife.
