Chapter 6: A Storm is Brewing

The morning after the chaotic fight, the school was abuzz with rumors. Whispers of a mysterious fighter taking down a gang spread like wildfire.

Yeji Nam leaned against a classroom window, arms crossed, watching Shin Ji with narrowed eyes. "You're acting way too calm about all this."

Shin Ji stretched lazily and yawned. "It's not like I fought."

"That's the problem." She frowned. "Someone like you, running away? It doesn't add up."

Shin Ji chuckled, dodging the question. "Maybe I'm just a coward."

Yeji huffed but didn't push further. Her mind, however, was still stuck on the fighter from last night—Seok "Baekho" Hwan. There was something about him that didn't sit right with her.

Meanwhile, Seok found himself being summoned to the student council room. He had expected this after making a scene, but he wasn't nervous. He entered to find the student council president waiting for him, expression unreadable.

"You're quite the interesting person," the president said, watching him carefully. "That fight last night… I don't suppose you'd be willing to explain?"

Seok smiled, scratching the back of his head. "Just some punks making trouble. Nothing major."

The president studied him in silence before smirking. "I see. Well, let's hope this doesn't become a habit."

Seok nodded and left. As he walked down the hallway, he exhaled lightly. He could tell—the student council was starting to take notice.

Across the city, in a dimly lit underground bar, a furious gang leader slammed his fist against the table. "Who the hell are these guys? First, that coward Shin Ji runs, and now some unknown guy wipes out my men?"

His subordinates remained silent as the gang leader gritted his teeth. "We're not letting this go. We'll hit back harder."

Back at school, Shin Ji and Yeji were leaving for the day when Seok stopped abruptly, his instincts flaring. A figure stood at the school gate, hands in pockets, a smirk on their face.

"So… he's here too?" The figure muttered.

The storm was coming.
