Chapter 20: Eyes of the King—Clairvoyance Unveiled

The night air was cold, crisp, as the stars shimmered above the quiet woods. A faint wind whispered through the trees, but Leonidas stood still, his eyes closed as if listening to something beyond mortal hearing.

Inside the cabin, Kratos sat sharpening his axe, occasionally glancing toward the door where his eldest son had gone hours earlier.

Outside, something was changing.

Suddenly, a pulse of golden light flickered around Leonidas, unseen to ordinary eyes. His body tensed as the last barrier of power gave way, and for a moment, the weight of Solomon's knowledge and vision crashed into him like a tidal wave.

**Memories that were not his own surged into his mind—**memories of thrones, armies of angels and demons, battles against darkness.

His eyes opened, glowing faintly golden, but with a sharp glint of clarity and awareness.

The world before him looked the same — but beyond, threads of fate and magic stretched out, illuminating things hidden to all others.

Far too the north, ravens circled, far too high for any bow to reach — Odin's eyes.

From the south, a ripple of green and silver magic, likely Freya, moving through the forest.

And in the dark corners of the world, other entities stirred — entities that now took notice of him.

"So... the time has come. I can see them all now."

His heart was calm, steady, as he took in the world from a king's perspective.

But one thing was clear — he couldn't share this yet, not fully. Not with Kratos. Not even with Faye.

For now, he had to keep it hidden, protect them from knowing too much too soon.

Rustling steps behind him caught his ear.

Leonidas turned his head slightly as Kratos emerged from the house, arms folded, watching him with narrowed eyes.

"You've been out here too long," Kratos said, voice low but edged with curiosity. "Your training... done for tonight?"

Leonidas kept his eyes half-lidded, suppressing the golden glow. "Just... clearing my head," he replied smoothly.

Kratos stared at him for a moment longer, studying him as if searching for something. His father had always been sharp—too sharp to fool easily.

But Leonidas offered nothing more, and Kratos eventually grunted. "Come inside. The cold will sap your strength."

Leonidas gave a small nod. "I'll follow in a moment."

Kratos didn't press further. Without another word, he turned and went back inside, though Leonidas knew his father was suspicious.

When Kratos was gone, Leonidas allowed his hands to pulse slightly with golden magic, testing the flow of energy.

"Not yet," he thought. "I can't show them yet. Father will want answers I can't give... And the more they know, the greater the danger if Odin learns."

His gaze turned to the distant ravens, now glowing faintly in his enhanced sight.

"Let them watch. But they won't see the whole picture."

He exhaled slowly, focusing on controlling the flood of knowledge, mastering it bit by bit, as a king would master his kingdom.

Meanwhile, inside the house...

Kratos stood at the window, arms crossed, eyes sharp as they followed his son's outline through the glass.

Faye approached quietly, placing a gentle hand on his arm.

"He grows strong," she said softly.

Kratos didn't look at her, his eyes still on Leonidas. "Too strong, too fast."

Faye tilted her head. "Do you fear him?"

Kratos grunted. "I fear what watches him."

Faye's expression softened, but she said nothing more.

Outside, Leonidas finally turned to the house, hiding the glimmer in his eyes, masking the immense power within as he rejoined his family, as though nothing had changed.

But within him, the King of Israel, Solomon, stirred ever closer to awakening — and now, with 90% of his essence integrated, the world was no longer hidden from Leonidas' gaze.
