Act VII - The Shadow Who Knows Names:

The corridor leading to the conference room - 6:31 PM :

"Who's there?"

Sohara didn't raise his voice, but it was clear enough to reach the unknown footsteps. A moment of silence passed slowly, as if the air itself was waiting for a response.

Then...

"So... you're also here, Sohara Akima."

Shoji raised an eyebrow, and Yukiha tightened her fist slightly, but her face remained composed. As for Sohara, he merely frowned slightly.

"Your voice is familiar." He said softly, but his eyes were glinting with something more dangerous.

The shadow moved. From the darkness, a figure emerged... a young man, tall, with neatly combed black hair, eyes narrowing with a gaze that was neither friendly nor hostile, but rather as if testing reactions.

"Oh..." Shoji muttered, as if suddenly remembering something. "I didn't expect to see you here, na-"

"Nai Tojimura." The young man said himself, interrupting Shoji with a cold smile.

Sohara turned the name over in his mind. He wasn't an ordinary student, he was in the graduating class, one of the students known for his high aptitude, but he rarely showed up for school activities.

"What are you doing here?" Yukiha asked in a neutral voice, but she didn't hide the caution in her gaze.

Tojimura shrugged his shoulders. "A more accurate question might be... what are you guys doing here?"

Same location - one minute later :

The conversation wasn't loud, but it was charged with something uncomfortable.

"We came to finish some work related to the graduation ceremony." Yukiha said.

"What a formal answer." Tojimura replied with a sideways smile. He then looked directly at Sohara. "And you?"

Sohara didn't answer right away, but he quickly read Tojimura's body language. The man wasn't here by accident.

"I took a tour, and I happened to find myself here." He finally replied.

"Of course, just a coincidence." Tojimura said with soft sarcasm. He put his hands in his pockets, looking at them one by one. "You know, it gets really weird around here at night. Have you heard the stories?"

Shoji smiled. "Oh, the usual horror stories? The ones the students make up to make school less boring?"

But Tojimura didn't smile this time. "Some stories aren't made up by students."

Silence returned for a moment.

Then Tojimura turned around and, with quiet steps, began to walk away.

"Don't stay here too long." He said without looking back. "Some doors... shouldn't be opened."

As he disappeared into the darkness, the three remained where they were, exchanging glances.

Shoji was the first to speak.

"Well... that wasn't suspicious at all."
