Noah vs Shadow Prince (Round 2)

The world twisted into darkness, the battlefield engulfed in a swirling maelstrom of shadows and cracked light. Olivia lay unconscious within the obsidian dome, while Noah stood before it—his breathing ragged, his crimson eyes locked on the towering figure before him. The Shadow Prince's crown of black thorns shimmered with malice, and every step he took seemed to warp reality itself.

"You're stalling," the Shadow Prince spoke, voice smooth yet terrifying. "Do you really think time will save her?"

Noah's blade trembled slightly in his grasp, blood dripping from his left arm. "No... but I can slow you down."

Without warning, the air exploded.

[Flash Step] — Noah vanished and reappeared behind the Shadow Prince, his blade slashing downward with a crack of displaced air. The strike was met by a shadowy claw that deflected it with inhuman ease.

"You've grown stronger…" the Shadow Prince whispered. "But strength alone won't change fate."

[Shadow Step] — Noah vanished into the prince's own shadow, appearing again at his side and unleashing [Gale Dance], his sword blurring in a flurry of strikes.

The Shadow Prince chuckled, letting the blows strike his armor of darkness, barely flinching. With a flick of his hand—

[Abyssal Bloom] — dark spears erupted from the ground.

[Echo of Oblivion]

A hum echoed through the battlefield.

Noah's eyes turned silver-blue as the spell twisted mid-air, reversing like a rewound tape and impaling the Shadow Prince's own chest.

Tch.

The prince narrowed his eyes, smoke rising from the wound. "So, you learned something dangerous."

Noah coughed blood. "I have more."

He leaped back, raising his hand as a golden vine burst from the ground—

[Radiant Bloom] — divine vines laced with light wrapped around the prince's legs.

[Azure Blue Flame] followed—draconic fire in ghostly blue tongues devouring the shadows that tried to consume the vines.

The Shadow Prince groaned as his shadow cloak sizzled, some tendrils burning away.

"You burn brighter than I thought," he growled.

[Tenebral Shatter] — he launched forward with a punch that shattered the air, the shockwave rippling like a blade of void.

[Mana Domain: Second Layer Activated]

The very ground warped under Noah's feet. The world slowed, and his eyes glowed with [Astral Sight].

Even so—BAM!

He was sent flying, crashing into a distant pillar, coughing blood violently. He barely had time to stand.

[Phantom Edge] — Three ethereal blades rose behind him, mimicking his movements. He lunged again, pain forgotten, will burning.

Then—[Sword Aura: Protector's Flame]

Golden light roared from his blade, a defiant flame born of resolve and desperation. It clashed with the Prince's black blade, light against shadow in a blinding burst.

The Shadow Prince gritted his teeth. "How?!"

Noah's voice cracked, but he smirked. "Because… someone like me doesn't stop."

He struck again—[Umbra Eclipse]—fusing shadow and light in a dazzling arc.

But even as it struck, the Shadow Prince raised his arm—

[Crown of Dusk] — black thorns surged upward, consuming the energy, then burst outward, blasting Noah with a wave of darkness.

He spiraled again. The impact left him gasping, bones fractured.

He stood once more.

Wounds everywhere. Vision blurry.

He remembered Olivia's teachings.

He remembered his mother's words.

He remembered being powerless… and swore not to be again.

"Come on then," he whispered. "I'm not done."

The Shadow Prince raised a hand—

[Sovereign Legion: Wraithbirth] — an army of writhing shadows emerged from his back like demonic soldiers birthed from his will.

Noah raised his blade, blood dripping from his brow, flames still flickering.

" Echo of Oblivion"

" Aura Armour "

The dome behind him pulsed—he was all that stood between the world and ruin.

Noah reflected the spell back to him but the backlash he got sent him flying few metres always , coughing his blood he saw him.

The shadow prince he was not injured but annoyed due to the spell he used earlier.

Noah stood panting, half-kneeling, his sword trembling in his grasp. Blood dripped from his lips, his limbs screamed, and his mana was flickering like a dying ember. Still, he didn't fall.

The Shadow Prince hovered in the air, cloak of shadows swirling around him like a living entity. His eyes gleamed with cruel amusement.

"You're still alive? Admirable… but pointless."

He raised his hand. A massive spell circle formed behind him, dark and intricate—

[ Final Oblivion: Black Sunfall. ]

The skies dimmed. The domain, filled with suffocating darkness, was about to collapse onto Noah.

Noah could barely lift his sword.

" So.…Is this how I'll die?....!"

But before the spell could be cast—

BOOOOM.

The entire world shook.

A golden crack split through the sky above the domain.

Then came the voice.

"Domain Breaker — Commandment of the Sky."

A golden blade of pure light descended from the heavens, cleaving through the Shadow Prince's domain like it was made of paper. The entire realm shattered, light flooding every corner, vaporizing the remaining shadows in an instant.

The spell behind the Shadow Prince collapsed, crumbling like dust.

Wind howled.

Mana screamed.

Even the earth itself seemed to pause… as a figure descended.

A man with silver-streaked black hair, eyes burning with celestial fire, clad in flowing robes inscribed with divine runes. His very presence made even the shadows recoil.

Headmaster Rein Shroud had returned.

He landed beside Noah, placing a hand on his shoulder.

And then, raising his head, his voice echoed louder than thunder—carrying across the entire battlefield, beyond the ruins, beyond the sky itself.

"WHO DARES… TO HURT MY STUDENT?"

The heavens rumbled in response.

The Shadow Prince narrowed his eyes for the first time… not in amusement, but in caution.

He said calmly, "you did well kid. I'll take it from here."

Noah stepped back, smiling faintly. "…Took you long enough… old man…"
