AFTER

Arya lay unconscious in an empty room in the TNI AU Hospital in Jakarta, alone. There was no one around him. The atmosphere felt eerily quiet, leaving an unusual silence.

The midday sunlight pierced through the hospital window on the second floor, refracting and filling the entire room. Its heat reflected directly onto his face. Slowly, Arya's eyes reacted to the glare. His head began to move, trying to avoid the light, while his right hand, with an empty IV still attached, gradually lifted.

Arya woke up from his sleep, weak and powerless. His memory was gone. His lips trembled as he tried to call out to someone, but his voice seemed to vanish along with his strength. Dressed in the typical green hospital gown, he sat up and attempted to get off the bed, causing the empty IV stand beside him to topple over. The sudden noise startled him, making him realize the IV was still attached. He quickly removed it and stepped out, searching for someone to ask for help.

Staggering, he crawled toward the wall, making his way to the door. Once he reached it, he slowly pushed it open, only to find the hallway completely empty. There was no one in sight—only scattered hospital furniture strewn haphazardly along the corridor. Arya walked cautiously, his hand tracing the wall for support as he struggled to keep his balance. Eventually, he reached an escalator that was eerily still. Money was scattered everywhere, and just below the escalator, he noticed a mini-market.

Without a second thought, he descended the escalator, picking up the scattered money along the way, heading toward the mini-market in search of food. Above him, large letters spelled out RSAU dr. Esnawan Antariksa. Upon entering the mini-market, he found the place in complete disarray. He grabbed a few snacks, eating some on the spot while stuffing the rest into a white plastic bag to take with him.

Before he could leave the mini-market, he noticed a clothing store across the street, not far from where he stood. Feeling slightly refreshed after eating, Arya grabbed a 1.5-liter bottle of mineral water and made his way out of the hospital, heading toward the clothing store.

Upon reaching the exit, Arya looked to his left and right—there was no one in sight. Jakarta felt like a dead city, devoid of life. After a brief moment, he hurried toward the clothing store. Along the way, he caught a glimpse of Monas in the distance until he finally arrived at the store.tersebut.

Without wasting any time, Arya quickly entered the store and picked out clothes he thought would suit him. After changing into his new outfit, he stepped out of the store, heading toward an unknown destination.

As he wandered alone through the deserted streets, Arya kept searching his memory. Since waking up, he had forgotten everything that had happened. He felt lost and confused. However, upon reaching the GBK Stadium, a sudden chill ran down his spine. His body trembled violently. He saw thousands of dismembered bodies, darkened blood splattered everywhere, swarmed by flies.[]
