EXODUS

In a special presidential bunker, Air Marshal Darmawan hurriedly made his way toward the President. He found him engaged in a discussion with the Chief of Police inside a control room, all while closely monitoring an extraordinarily large flat-screen display. Around them, specialized staff in their respective fields were observing the situation through their computer systems.

"Pak, ribuan pesawat terlihat mengarah ke atas Pulau Jawa." reported Air Marshal Darmawan, followed immediately by a statement from the Chief of Police to the President.

"Ini sangat berbahaya Pak. Melihat situasinya, pesawat itu bisa saja menjatuhkan Zombi sama seperti kota lain, termasuk Aceh. Resikonya terlalu fatal."

"Hancurkan pesawat-pesawat itu sebelum mencapai atas kepulauan kita." President Suprapto ordered, immediately prompting a response from Marshal Darmawan and the Chief of Police.

"SIAP, LAKSANAKAN!!!"

Within minutes, the order was set into motion. The Indonesian Navy mobilized its forces across the western waters of Java, preparing for engagement. The Air Force was ready, deploying hundreds of aircraft of various types, while the Army stood at full alert. The ground forces, equipped with never-before-seen weaponry, lined up at the island's edge alongside the naval fleet stationed near the coastline.

Rows of steel-clad tanks, heavy artillery, rocket launchers, and an arsenal of advanced weaponry stood poised, ready to intercept anything that dared to trespass Java's airspace.

Not long after, thousands of foreign aircraft surged through the skies, speeding toward Australia. To them, Java was the safest route—an assumption they would soon regret. Unbeknownst to them, an army of Indonesian forces stood ready to obliterate anything that crossed their path, all in the name of protecting the last remaining citizens of the nation.

"Maaf, kehadiran kalian membahayakan kami." said one of the pilots just before launching a rocket from his aircraft.

"Tembaaaaaaaaak….." shouted one of the Army commanders, as if giving both an order and a battle cry.

The brutal assault by the ABRI commenced, tearing through the foreign aircraft. Planes began dropping from the sky, engulfed in flames. From the waters of Java, submarines surfaced, firing missiles to intercept any intruders attempting to cross the airspace.

Yet, despite the relentless barrage, the sheer number of enemy aircraft proved overwhelming. Many managed to slip past the TNI's defensive line, vanishing into the night. Worse still, numerous aircraft crashed directly onto Javanese soil, crushing TNI forces beneath them and claiming lives in an instant.

The worst fears of the POLRI high command soon came true. From the burning wreckage of several planes, grotesque figures emerged—Zombies.

The battlefield erupted into chaos. Soldiers who had spent their lives training for war found themselves facing an enemy that knew no fear, no pain, and no mercy. Gunfire rang out, bullets tearing through rotting flesh, but the creatures kept coming. They sprinted toward the soldiers, biting, clawing, ripping apart flesh with terrifying ferocity.

As the horror unfolded, the infection spread at an alarming rate. Soldiers who were bitten began to change within moments, their eyes turning lifeless, their bodies convulsing before joining the horde. But not all who were bitten transformed—some held on, unaffected by the virus, though they eventually succumbed to fatal blood loss, becoming nothing more than fresh meat for the undead.

A few managed to flee, slipping away into the darkness, hoping to escape the nightmare. But it was too late. The infection had taken root. In mere hours, the undead plague spread across Java, and before long, it began its slow, relentless march toward the heart of Indonesia—Jakarta. []

  1. Sir, thousands of aircraft have been detected heading toward Java Island,
  2. This is extremely dangerous, Sir. Given the situation, those planes could be dropping zombies just like they did in other cities, including Aceh. The risk is far too great.
  3. Destroy those planes before they reach our archipelago.
  4. YES, SIR! EXECUTE THE ORDER!!!
  5. Sorry, your presence is a threat to us.
  6. Fiiiiire!
  7. Indonesia Army
