CHAPTER 3

THE CELESTIAL AWAKENING

The Celestial Awakening

The battlefield was chaos incarnate. Specters clashed with Eldoris warriors, their ghostly blades meeting steel in an eerie, silent war. Lyra's pulse thundered in her ears as she struggled to keep up with the whirlwind of attacks around her. The celestial mark on her arm blazed brighter, filling her veins with an unearthly warmth.

Kael's voice cut through the din. "Lyra! You must use your power!"

"I don't know how!" she shouted back, parrying a shadowy blade just in time.

Malakar smirked from his vantage point. "Then you shall fall."

A specter lunged at her, and instinct took over...

The moment its blade neared her, a force erupted from within Lyra. Golden light exploded outward, engulfing the battlefield. The specters recoiled, their wails piercing the night. Power surged through her limbs, raw and untamed. Her body lifted slightly off the ground as swirling constellations materialized around her.

Alden stared in awe. "By the gods…"

Malakar's expression darkened. "So it begins."

Kael stepped forward, eyes gleaming with recognition. "Lyra, you must harness the energy. Direct it!"

With a deep breath, Lyra focused. The celestial light condensed in her palms, forming a burning sigil. As the specters charged again, she unleashed it, sending waves of divine energy rippling across the battlefield.

The tide was turning, but the war had just begun…
