Ding Ning turned her head and glanced sideways at Cheng Lian, making a 'tsk' sound, "What's wrong with dogs? Dogs are so cute, much better than some idiots."
Cheng Lian chuckled, clearly irritated, but under Ding Ning's triumphant and provocative look, he calmed down.
This was the first time Wen Ruan had seen Cheng Lian so humiliated in front of a girl.
Wen Ruan found it amusing, her eyes filled with curiosity, "Do you two know each other?"
Ding Ning gave a cold look, "Not really. He's that psychopath I mentioned last time. The wrist injury? His work."
"Well, that's quite a coincidence, running into him again," Wen Ruan said with a light laugh.
"Who knows? It's unbelievable," Ding Ning muttered.
Cheng Lian shoved his hands in his pockets and started walking down the stairs, "Miss Wen, why isn't Brother He with you?"
"He's got some business to deal with," Wen Ruan replied with a smile.
