Maybe I'm stupid for not understanding the debts of the situation, but who can blame me? I'm not even a member of the family yet the old man left 70% of his inheritance in my hands. That's more money than I could ever do with, not only that. It's also money that doesn't in any way belong to me. It's Dom's money.

I wonder why he is not more repulsed by all these than me? I can't possibly imagine how he feels knowing that his own father didn't leave so much for him, but left it for his best friend's daughter? The man doesn't even know me!

"He can't possibly do that." Dominic finally says something thankfully. I was beginning to think he was just going to let all these happen so easily.
