For millennia, the Onmyojis or Yin Yang Masters have defended the human realm from the sinister forces of the supernatural worlds. With their special powers, these spirit masters have maintained a balance in the universe, allowing humanity to grow in peace.

However, the loss of a mysterious artifact threatens to destroy that balance. 

Onmyoji Adam Takahashi had responded to a distress call from fellow Kelly Nishamura but found himself walking into a trap. With his special powers - the Lighting Mantra- he rescued Kelly but soon realized a prized artifact of their sect had been stolen by arch-foes the Black Robes

The loss threatened to destroy the universal order. 

Adam and his fellow Onmyojis must race against time to hunt down the Black Robes and retrieve the artifact. More importantly, they must uncover the reason for the theft. Summoning their powers, they strived to defeat their foes and the unknown powers behind them and preserve the peace between the realms. 

Henceforth starts a compelling journey filled with action, magic, and engaging characters with special powers.  As the Onmyojis battled the dark forces to save their world, they promised to deliver a memorable saga filled with human resilience, sacrifice, and love.

The Saga of the Onmyoji

The Double Lotus Shrine, or 双莲寺, was founded in the year 1875, during the colonial era of Singapore. Its name was derived from a miraculous discovery. 


In a hot summer of 1874, a visiting monk, who carried the monk title Yuan Ci (圆慈）from mainland Fujian, was wandering in the rural area of what is central west Singapore when he came upon a pond. 


In the scenic environment, he meditated for one full day. When he woke the next morning, Yuan Ci was greeted with a miracle and witnessed the blossoming of lotus flowers in the pond. He was in awe and noticed that the largest of them, which resided in the middle of the pond, was actually taller than the rest. It caught his attention because the main stalk has two lotus flowers. 


Yuan Ci believed it was a manifestation of Buddha's powers and an omen. He made a vow to salvage the masses with his prayers and powers and went on to found a Buddhist monastery which he named after the miracle of nature - Double Lotus
