Everyone in the Palace was shocked as the news of what had happened to the West arrived. I was deeply sad for Alpha Joe, he was badly injured and the only one who survived. Alpha King Zed brought him to the Palace for treatment and to keep him safe, but until now, he hasn't awakened. I thought they were prepared for the enemies but no one has expected that the rogues would come so strong. 


Zeina whispered as we both watched the doctors and nurses attending to him inside the room. 


His heartbeat is weak, we can barely hear it, his skin is pale and his eyes are closed. The Alpha Joe that I once knew was gone he looked like a different person lying on top of the bed. But the fact that he is still alive gives us hope that Alpha Joe will soon survive this.
