Catherine's POV
“I hope you remember who I am now, Miss Catherine?” He asked, giving me a cheeky smile that sent goosebumps all over my body.
“So, what if I do, Ivan, or whatever you call yourself? What… are you doing here? I don't remember inviting or having any business with you in my school” I answered, refusing to get chicken-out by him.
It's true that Roselyn wasn't guilty as charged, but that's not the case with Ivan as he truly harbored feelings for her back then, though I don't know for now.
“I am the last person who would want to do any business with you in your damn school, Miss Catherine, so that's far from it. I'm merely here based on a state assignment, and had only picked your school because of something I wish to achieve here” He answered.
“And what kind of state assignment is it that I know nothing of?” I probed.
Dropping a flyer on my desk, he asked, maintaining eye contact with me, “Ever heard of the future justice leaders program, huh?”
