Lara stepped out of the house and settled herself on a fluffy cloud, gazing at her wristwatch intently. The hours dragged on as she patiently waited for the clock to strike 7 pm. At the exact moment, she gracefully leaped down from the cloud, adorned in a stunning red gown that had seemingly materialized out of thin air. Meanwhile, Steve drove to Lara’s house and was taken aback when he found her standing on the road, an unmistakable sadness etched across her face.
Concerned, Steve parked the car and stepped out, approaching Lara. “What’s the matter? You don’t seem happy,” he inquired, his voice filled with genuine worry.
Lara mustered a faint smile and replied, “I’ll be fine. Can we go, please?” Steve held the car door open for her, and they both got inside. As he started the engine, he couldn’t help but wonder about the reason she had been standing there, waiting for him. However, he decided not to press the issue, respecting her space.
