Under the Aduaxlight 2

Ignis spells find their target, and Agil, burning, screams in agony in his final moments, running towards Cai Yong and trying to strike him with his sword, but in vain. A spear made of pure fire appears in Cai Yong's hand and splits Agil vertically in two. Without a moment's hesitation, Cai Yong sets off after Theodoras and Lily.

Lily was still on Theodoras' shoulder; Theodoras had forcibly taken Lily onto his shoulder, the shadows of the trees falling on his face as he ran. In the sky, there was Aduax, and at this exact time of year, Aduax was passing directly in front of the moon, looking just like a full moon and glowing a deep blue—a magnificent sight, depending on who you asked. The blue light of Aduax dazzled Theodoras and Lily's eyes.

As Theodoras continued running with Lily on his shoulder, their path led to a cliff. Below the cliff, the forest stretched on, but it was quite high. Theodoras was out of breath from carrying Lily and running; even though he had the physique of a 3rd-class martial artist, he had run at full speed and had managed to get quite far. Below the cliff, the forest extended like an endless green ocean. Aduax illuminated the pitch-black night with its blue light; the scenery was beautiful, but unfortunately, there was no time to enjoy it now. Theodoras lowered Lily from his shoulder. "Lily, can you run?" The urgency in Theodoras' voice was unmistakable. Just then, their surroundings were engulfed by rising flames, trapping them at the edge of the cliff. Between the trembling fires, a narrow gap formed, and through it appeared Cai Yong, covered in blood. "Lily, I have a plan, but our chances of survival are very low," Theodoras said. As Cai Yong stepped into the fiery circle, the gap he entered closed behind him. "What's that, are you going to jump off the cliff or something?" Cai Yong said in a mocking tone. When Lily saw Cai Yong's face, her own face paled, and she began to vomit. "What's your name?" Theodoras asked with a serious expression, his eyes burning with vengeance. Cai Yong found this highly amusing. "Do you think my name will be of any use to you after you're dead, kid?" Cai Yong replied, and Theodoras burst into laughter. "After I'm dead? Do you really think a lowly scum like you could kill me? Lily, if you want to live and take revenge on this man, take my hand." Lily, her face ashen from vomiting, looked at Theodoras exhaustedly and saw a hopeful light in his eyes. She took his hand. Cai Yong's face soured at this sight. "Disgusting teenagers." A spear of fire appeared in Cai Yong's hand again. "You see what's below the cliff, right? Further ahead is Celestie Lake, and it's full of monsters. Even if you survive the fall, you'll be food for the beasts." Theodoras, who had actually been planning to jump off the cliff and somehow survive, truly felt fear now. "Oh, what's wrong? Were you actually going to jump? Don't worry, I'll throw you down myself." With one swift move, Cai Yong slashed at the cliff's edge, and the ground began sliding downward like flour spilling from a sack. Lily and Theodoras crashed into tree branches as they fell, their bodies covered in cuts, bruises, and wounds, and they lost consciousness.

**Celestie Palace**

Half an hour after Lily set out, a horse-drawn carriage and a much larger, well-equipped team of knights gathered in front of the palace. "Mother, I'm not going to war; there was no need for all this preparation. I'm just going to the academy," Elijah said with a bright smile on his face. Aleria stroked Elijah's hair affectionately. "Still, I'm a mother. How can I call myself a mother if I don't worry about my beloved son? Besides, Vaeloria is very far from Celestia; traveling by land takes too long." Aleria didn't want to let her son go, but her desire for him to become the head of the family outweighed her love for him. "Mother, don't worry. I'll travel safely, pass the exam, and I won't let you down." After saying goodbye, Elijah boarded the carriage and set off toward the northeast.

It was nearly dawn when a rabbit hopped in through Aleria's window and climbed onto her shoulder. Surprised, Aleria took the rabbit into her hands and looked at it. Suddenly, the rabbit turned into a piece of paper, leaving her stunned. It was some kind of letter, bearing the seal of the Assassins' Guild. Aleria began reading the letter.

Dear esteemed client,

The task you requested from our guild has been carried out by our member known as "Red Revelry." If you are satisfied with our service, we look forward to serving you again next time. Wishing you a good day.

Payment has been received in advance.

A victorious smile spread across Aleria's face. Jethro had been in seclusion lately. The Viscountess's bedroom was vast and grand, larger than most people's homes. Aleria conjured a flame from her fingertip and burned the letter to ashes in seconds.

Note: The Seven Great Guilds are large organizations that operate worldwide. So far, we've seen the Assassins' Guild and the Magical Engineering Guild.

Magical Engineering Guild: Magical Engineering is used in the creation of enchanted tools. The Magical Engineering Guild is a major institution that patents these tools, conducts extensive research in this field, and provides educational opportunities.

Assassins' Guild: Though not originally an official guild, this organization became widespread across the world. Since governments couldn't stop it, they made it official, and it became a legal assassin group that pays taxes, recognized globally. However, they are forbidden from assassinating royal families or the families of government officials.

**Aduax Calendar A.T.G.W 420**

The sun had just risen, and the shadows of the trees fell over Lily and Theodoras, who lay unconscious on the ground. The surroundings were alive with sound. Theodoras' wounds had almost entirely healed. Lily had minor injuries, her body covered in bruises. They hadn't taken too much damage from crashing into the tree branches as they fell, since their speed had been reduced. Theodoras slowly opened his eyes, holding the back of his head with one hand as he sat up. "Agh." His head ached terribly, and in his lap, he saw a small, round, blue creature with fluffy fur. Its eyes were disproportionately large for its tiny body, and it had no visible nose or ears. It had an adorable appearance. Theodoras picked up the creature in his hand. Lily's eyes were open, and she looked at Theodoras, suddenly forgetting all her pain as she shouted, "Theodoras, get away from it! That's a brancfluf. If its scent gets on you, its whole swarm will attack you!" The tiny brancfluf sank its teeth into Theodoras' finger, drawing blood. With a small yelp, Theodoras reflexively shook his hand to dislodge it, and the brancfluf flew off and hit the ground. "Theodoras, gather some leaves or something and let's burn them. They won't come near the smell of smoke," Lily said. Theodoras stood up, and the little brancfluf took flight again, lunging at Theodoras once more. Theodoras looked at it in surprise. "Wow, it can fly! So cute!" No matter how adorable it was, the fact remained that brancflufs were dangerous. Theodoras swatted it with the back of his hand, and it fell to the ground again. A loud rumble came from between the trees. Lily and Theodoras turned toward the sound, and from the trees emerged hundreds of brancflufs in every color, flying straight at them. Lily tried to stand and run but couldn't because of her injuries. "Theodoras, looks like you'll have to carry me on your back again," she said hesitantly, firing a fireball at the brancflufs. Theodoras rushed over and hoisted Lily onto his back again. "Lily, the rear is up to you," Theodoras said as he started running, much faster than he had the previous night. Theodoras had somewhat figured out how to strengthen his body with mana on his own, though he didn't know what it was. Lily set hundreds of brancflufs ablaze, and since they were flying so close together, the fire spread from their burning feathers to the others. As Lily and Theodoras ran deeper into the forest, they left a massive fire in their wake. The brancflufs' flames spread to the trees, setting them ablaze. "Lily, be careful! You're burning the trees!" Theodoras instinctively felt bad when the plants were harmed. "Oh my god, look at what we're dealing with. Do you think the trees burning is our biggest problem right now? How am I supposed to be careful about that? Run faster, or they'll chew us to pieces until only our bones are left!" Theodoras sped up, but it was no use. A wall of brancflufs blocked their path ahead. He stopped abruptly and tried to change direction, but it was too late—they were surrounded by brancflufs on all sides. Suddenly, every brancfluf around them popped like balloons. Blood streamed from Theodoras and Lily's ears and noses, and their heads throbbed violently. Theodoras couldn't withstand it and lost consciousness. Lily barely managed to hold on to hers as the pressure suddenly stopped.
