(so here's like the seating kg kind of plan:
There were 8 seats.
Yoo Da Hee sat on the far right seat
Yoo Na Ri sat next to her on the left.
Jung Ah sat next to her on the left.
Cha Sirin next to her.
Then Ra Mi, Kwon Miya
and the last one Lily (or eun young)
However.. there's one more seat left..
for who?)
Everyone stared for a moment.
What was in front of them was… a panel that had Kang Lim… but much younger. He wore a shirt that had "LMO" displayed across it as he lay back on his bed.
"Kang Lim?" Jung Ah spoke.
'Why is he… here?' the girls all collectively thought in sync, yet to piece it together.
"Do that in moderation, this is fucking frustrating. Why are these guys in webtoons such betas?"
Their expressions turned daft.
'Hypocrite.'
Kang Lim was a hypocrite.
The screen had shown Ju Ingong, a classic niche plot that showed how dense he was. He turned down an obvious plan for Yoo Da Hee to get closer, shutting it down with some stupid excuse that he "didn't want to eat at night." He clearly didn't get the hint.
Though, Kang Lim was more reasonable.
He didn't have time to think about any romantic feelings toward the girls as his only priority was his own survival through saving them. He didn't let his thoughts wander as he still had remaining ESW incidents to go through.
And he clearly was in doubt. Why would they like him anyway?
He had a fleeting feeling that they only had feelings for him because of the actions he had taken. That they weren't expressing true love but just gratitude. That feeling had only grown immensely after the Yoo Na Ri incident.
However, that still didn't change the fact that Na Kang Lim was dense and ignored almost all the hints the others had given him.
The screen switched to some comment sections.
"I'll bet my game account that guy isn't sane."
"What'd you expect from such a beta? Where are my Ra-Mi shippers at?"
"Eating.. at night.. isn't…
Wtf is he serious LOL"
"Dang… Yoo Da Hee fans got wrecked in one frame."
Yoo Da Hee rose up and shouted at the screen.
"I'll have you know I only have feelings for Boss! Not this daft, dense punk! Hmph!"
She crossed her arms before sitting down.
The others slightly laughed at her sudden outburst.
"Ra-Mi shippers? People really do like me. Of course they do." Ra Mi spoke with a smug tone, smiling to herself.
"Shorty.." Cha sirin muttered under her breath, hoping to go unnoticed. She slightly disliked her inflated ego.
Ra Mi turned to face her and pointed.
"Excuse me! What did you say?!" She shouted across the theatre, shocking everyone.
Cha sirin slightly grew red before repeating what she had just said.
"Shorty!" She shouted aswell.
"Ngh! You!" She was in shock, pointing at her as if Sirin had done something bad.
A sigh was heard from the far left.
"Girls. Be quiet and sit down." Seo Eun Young ordered. Being slightly
scared of her due to her status and that maid..
They quickly complied and sat down on the seat.
Na Kang Lim shot up, now sitting on the bed as his glare intensified at the phone.
"I WOULD HAVE NEVER TURNED THAT DOWN, HUH?! I'D ALREADY THINK OF DATING AND MARRYING!"
Yoo Da Hee slightly blushed, before flipping her hair with her hand, protruding confidence.
"Hmph! Looks like boss wanted to marry me!"
"Not fair!" the other girls exclaimed.
'If he really wanted to marry me.. then why didn't he?!' She suddenly felt the urge to punch him due to his dense self.
Kang Lim's voice only grew louder with every sentence.
"HOW CAN SOMEONE TURN DOWN THE 'COME DOWN FOR RAMEN' EVENT…"
Just then, his door swung open, relishing in the figure that just stepped in.
"HEY!l Her sister screamed at Kang Lim's outburst, frustration in her voice.
Na Min Jung grabbed on the side of the door, an angry face filled with hatred.
"Shut the fuck up already. Your cringiness echoes all the way into my room, you know?"
She didn't stop there.
"You're embarrasing me while I'm on the phone with my friends. Do you really have to flaunt your loser status."
'So this is how Oppa was before meeting us.. Cute.' Na Ri grinned, her feelings for him increasing.
"Even before all of us met, he's still a loner… except Jung Ah, she knew him before us. Yoo Da Hee spoke, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
Jung Ah simply laughed, though she was still cautious on where they were, they didn't mind viewing Kang Lim's life.
Na Kang Lim turned his head to her and apologized.
"Huh? Oh, uhm… Sorry. Hey, but you shouldn't talk to your brother like that…"
Na Min Jung shut the force loud enough to make a loud Bang!
"Ugh. This person."
Na Kang Lim flopped back onto the bed, staring at his phone.
"Ah~ But seriously, how am I gonna wait till next week?"
'So the author releases a chapter every week?" Jung Ah thought.
"No cookies… 'Guess I have to reinstall and register again…"
The panel shifted to Kang Lim scrolling and stopping on a comment.
It read:
"If you're so frustrated, why don't you be the protagonist then LOL.
I like his innocence."
Clearly, people didn't like it as it raised a total of 0 likes and 11 dislikes.
"This fucker?"
The panel shifted to his face.
"Yeah right, I would If I could."
Kang Lim downvoted the comment and continued.
"If only I had the looks."
'Liar…' All the girls grew slightly red as they all thought the same thing.
'My darling isn't ugly.' Seo Eun Young thought.
'I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him.' Na Ri… lightly expressed her love.
Kang Lim turned his body to face the mirror. Placing his hands on his head, he closely examined himself and spoke in a proud like tone.
"Now that I look more closely… maybe I look the part?"
Small laughter emerged from the crowd.
'That's boss for you.' Yoo Da Hee thoufht.
Na Kang Lim stood up and got into a fighting stance. He threw some.. questionable punches, making small little "shu" sounds with each punch thrown.
"I could probably do the fighting if I tried, hah.."
He continued his flurry of punches before he struck the top of his chair.
Shouting in pain, he grabbed his arm back.
"AARGH!"
On the other sue of the wall, Na Min Jung banged on the wall.
"CAN YOU SHUT UP ALREADY?!"
"Their relationship is.." Ra Mi stared with slight wide eyes.
"Questionable, indeed." Seo Eun Young finished her sentence.
'I wish I could live with Oppa..' Na Ri made a questionable sound and placed her hands on her mouth, which caught the attention of her sister.
She stared at Na Ri.
"You're thinking of something inappropriate aren't you?" Yoo Da Hee asked.
A wave of warmth rushed up to her face as she quickly waved her hand in front her face. She faced the other way and struggled to speak.
"N-No! I w-wasn't!"
Cha sirin and Kwon Miya stood quiet, a small
smile on their face as they watched.
The scene changed, and now it was a school.
Students were chatting about non important topics, the usual school routine.
But for Na Kang Lim..
"Good morning. My servant, Na Kang Lim."
"Not that weirdo." Seo Eun Young spoke her thoughts.
Kwon Miya gazed at Seo Eun Young.
"It's Kang Lim's friend. Be respectful."
She rolled her eyes.
The voice that sat next to him was Shin Yong Su. As if you couldn't tell from his choice of words, he sufferes from Chuunibyou disease.
He wore the normal school uniform, but a blazer over his shoulders like as if he was some sort of king. He had normal brown hair, with glasses. His fingers hand bandage wrapped. His arms were crossed as he greeted Na Kang Lim.
They both sat down, as the conversation started.
"What's up? You seem to be in a good mood this morning." A slight tear of hesitation formed on his cheek as he asked Shin Yong Su.
"Heh, how could I hide it? I finally ascended to platinum rank."
"That's my boss." Yoo Da Hee spoke.
"You mean my kang lim?" 2 voices arose, both Na Ri and Ra Mi.
'A challenge, huh?' Yoo Da Hee crossed her arms and gave them a stiff look, alternating from from Na Ri and Ra Mi.
"He liked me first." Yoo Da Hee shot.
Both of them froze, before Na Ri smiled and shot back.
"He said he loved me first." Na Ri said with pride, as she played the recording.
"That's becsuse you kidnapped him!" Yoo Da Hee pointed at her sister.
'Kidnapped?' The observers thought.
"W-Well! We kissed on the ferris wheel!" Ra Mi stomped on her feet to get their attention, slightly blushing.
Her statement was.. slightly true. Rather them kissing, she gave him a forehead kiss.
"Tch! Whatever!" The sisters both turned their gazes at the screen.
"Your luck in the placements is insane;; my team is always inting."
"Plus I pulled the new 3 star from 'Witch Myth' Gacha."
The drop of hesitation slowly went down Na Kang Lim's face as he stared in awe.
"What? But you're a free-to-play player? You got marie with a free ticket?"
Like a classic chuunibyou, Shin Yong Su dud the classic anime trope, fixing his glasses by pushing it inwards to show his pride.
"Ah, It was fate chosen by the world line for me."
The girls commented on nothing, as they didn't understand a single thing that came out their mouth.
But, what made them so enthralled was how this.. Kang Lim, turned into the person he was today.
"You've used up all your luck for the year." Kang Lim spoke.
He smiled, looking at Shin Yong Su.
"Oh right, speaking of. Did you read the chapter yesterday?"
The girls knew what they were talking about, and yet still couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of pain in them in knowing they're made up characters.
"Chapter? What webtoon are you talking about?" Shin Yong Su asked with some curiousity.
"Huh? It was wednesday, so what else? Of course it's ESW."
Shin Yong Su stared at him.
"ESW? What's that, a new release?"
'What?!' All the girls eyes widened.
I mean, they had expected this but knowing that the worlds merged is still a crazy phenomenon.
"Huh? What are you saying? It's ESW dude."
"Escape Six Wives."
Shin Yong Su placed his hands on his chin, imitating a thinking pose.
"Hoo? Quite an interesting title. Who'd have thought a masterpiece I didn't know still exists in this world?"
Na Kang Lim glared at him as if he was crazy.. well..
"Eh? Why're you acting like you don't know it? Ah! Is it because Da Hee was the main focus yesterday?"
'Rude..' Yoo Da Hee felt hurt by that comment.
"Because your beloved yerim hasn't appeared for 2 months?"
"Hmm? My servant? What nonsense are you-"
- Tururu ~
- Tururu ~
The girls stared at shock.
What was playing from his phone seemed to be some anime song.
"The fact that he can do this willingly to cope with his problems is far too much for me." Kwon Miya spoke, which got the nods of the other girls.
Shin Yong Su pulled out his phone. It was a normal- No. His back cover had an image of a magic circle, which fitted his persona.
The message he received was from the game they were talking about, "Witch Myth."
The message read:
"Master! It's an Invasio-nyah!"
"What! They're invading again?!" He shouted out in desperation. "Tsk! These vile dark church bastards!"
Na Kang Lim looked, slightly shocked.
'This guy's Chuunibyou's worsening…"
Shin Yong Su placed his forefingers on his forehead as he loudly exclaimed.
"Yet! Never underestimate 'The Blue Drake God'! With the stamina I saved up for times like these….!"
Kang Lim ignored his cringey remarks and stares at his phone.
'But what was that? He doesn't know ESW? Seriously, Do I have to hit him with facts?"
'What?'
He pulled his recent webtoon, to not find ESW anywhere.
'Why isn't it in my recently viewed webtoons? Don't tell me yesterday's chaptrrs got deleted?'
He continued to glare at his phone.
'Did they remove it because of the nonstop flaming in the comments? Man, this is crossing the line no matter how I look at it.'
'Wierd..' They all thought.
The teacher interrupted the chatter and spoke loudly.
"Alright everyone~ Stop chattering and take a seat. We have a transfer student today."
Whispers spread around the classroom like a plague.
"She'll introduce herself before home room starts. Come in."
Just then on cue, A girl, with blonde hair down to her upper back and a red ribbon walked in.
She stopped at the middle and waved at everyone.
A girl stood there, with emerald eyes that could captivated anyone and the long blonde hair.
"Hi? My name is Yoo Da Hee. My father is british, so I transferred from there, but…"
"Wow.." Some wowed at the sight.
'How crazy must it be to see a webtoon come to life?' Jung Ah thought.
'Darling…'
'Tch. I'm still better.' Na Ri stared at her sister, who was leaning in and looking at the panel.
Cha Sirin and Kwon Miya, yet again, just stares like they're glad to be there.
"I attended elementrt school in Korea, So I can speak Korean really well! Hehe!"
The class went into a slight uproar as they whispered about her.
"Wow.. is this for real?" Extra 1 spoke.
"Her proportions are insane." Extra 2 spoke.
"H-Hey! You perverts!" Yoo Da Hee, feeling helpless covered her chest and closed her legs.
"Sister.. I'll kill them.." The sound of a taser could be heard.
"Calm down, Sis. Let's just see what Boss thinks of me." she said as a smile formed on her face.
"Huh?" Na Kang Lim fell frozen, staring at her.
Yoo Da Hee's voice arose once again.
"Of course, there are still things I don't know well."
As if a blessing from god himself, light shone on her. "But I want to get along with everyone, so don't be shy~ I'll be in your care from now on!"
The whole class let out a loud "Ohh~~~"
The teacher interrupted.
"Quiet, Quiet! It's still the start of the semester, gosh. Don't be cliquish and make sure to get along-"
A slam on the table echoed through the room, slicing the voices like a blade.
"Y-Yoo Da Hee?!" Na Kang Lim shouted.
Everyone laughed at his sudden outburst.. except for Yoo Da Hee.
"What's wrong sis?" Na Ri looked at her, worried.
"Don't worry.. I'm fine."
'Why do I not remember this?' Yoo Da Hee thought.
The whole class went silent, as everyone stared at Kang Lim.
Shin Yong Su asked for him, concern in his voice but using weird word choice.
"What's up with you, my servant? Don't tell me you know a 3d human girl?"
Na Kang Lim stared at the ground.
'Know her? Of course, I do..!'
'Her name is Yoo Da Hee, 2nd Year of High School, Blood Type 0, Sagittarius. Her talents include playing the piano, and her hobbies include floral arrangement and classical music among other things.'
'Boss..' She blushed heavily, as he knew so much about her.
"As you can see, he likes me the most!" She loudly exclaimed.
The other girls ignored her, but there was slight anger in their faces.
(skipped some scenes for the sake of my sanity)
"But how can you be here..?!" Na Kang Lim asked.
'What the hell is this, some hidden cam prank?! Cosplay? No, that wouldn't even make sense! She looks way too similar..'
The teacher glanced at Na Kang Lim.
"Oh my, Da Hee, Do you know Kang Lim?"
'What is this? Am I still asleep? Is this a dream?'
Yoo Da Hee looked with confusion as she slowly stuttered.
"N-No.. This is my first time seeing him."
Scene shifts. 12:40 Lunch Break.
Kang Lim had been organizing his thoughts, and came to a conclusion.
'#1) The main heroine of ESW has appeared in reality.'
'Even If I try to brush her off as someone similar.'
'#2) The webtoon that was updating fine untill yesterday has disappeared.'
'No traces can be found anywhere.'
'Even worse, except for me, no one seems to know about this crazy situation. Would asking her reveal anything? Still, despite everything… She's so pretty… seeing her in real life feels like meeting a celebrity. A whole
different dimension.'
Yoo Da Hee heavily blushed.
Yoo Da Hee and Na Kang Lim made eye contact.
'Ah?! We made eye contact.'
'So cute…' Yoo Da Hee smiled slightly, however there was still a hint of confusion in this.
The other girls slightly frowned.
Yoo Da Hee, seemingly curious on his recent outburst and her need to make new friends approached Kang Lim.
'H-Huh?! She's walking over here? W-Why…?!!'
Kang Lim stared at the now looming Yoo Da Hee, slightly blushing.
'This is so unfair, he's never like this around me.' The other girls thought.
"Hey~"
Yoo Da Hee ran a finger through her hair, and that inexplicable light from god himself shone on her again.
"Have we met somewhere before?"
Kang Lim Froze. His face had turned full red as he struggled to get his words out.
Yoo Da Hee laughed uncontrollably, wiping a tear off her eye.
"Ahh.. So cute…" She said smiling.
The other girls shot her a glare.
Yoo Da Hee, taking upon the challenge, winked at them.
"W-What! No!" Kang Lim stuttered through his words.
Yoo Da Hee placed a hand on her hip. "Really? Then why the formal speech then? Haha."
'I haven't talked to a girl in ages… I'm so nervous.'
Everyone burst to laughter once again.
Yoo Da Hee's stomach had already been convulsing in pain due to how much she was laughing.
"Darling really is a loner!" Seo Eun Young spoke inbetween laughs.
"You seem like you knew me during homeroom, so I was just checking. I usually have trouble remembering faces, I've made a mistake before because of this hehe. So if not that's a relief."
Kang Lim, one again struggled to get his words out properly as he managed to form an excuse.
"Ah~ Are you talking about when you met Seo Eun Young again? It was a reunion after so long and she even brought your favorite white chocolate."
"What!" Seo Eun Young and Yoo Da Hee both stood up from the seat, and glanced at each other.
Jung Ah quickly defused the situation.
"Girls, it's probably because he saw when he read that webtoon."
"Ahhh…" Both of them plumped back into their seat.
.
.
.
"..What?"
'Agh! That was a mistake!' Kang Lim thought.
"How do you know about that incident? And how do you know I like white chocolate…"
'Shit! What am I saying, Na Kang Lim you idiot!'
"A-Ahh! Don't mind me! I was just mumbling to myself! I-I just really love white chocolate!" Sweat dripped from his head to his cheek as he quickly waved his arm around.
The students around them began whispering.
"Whos that guy?" Girl 1 said. (not bothering giving them names since they don't and they're not important 💔)
"Why is he acting so cringe around her?" Girl 2 said.
"Kinda gives off a bad vibe…"
"Hey! What do they know about Kang Lim?!" Kwon Miya's expression changed drastically, madness spreading across her face.
"Y-Yeah! What do they know!" Cha Sirin, like a cat to a bulldog, tried to shout at the screen aswell. Though, it probably wouldn't scare anyone.
Yoo Da Hee's expression darkened.
"H-Hey.. You wouldn't happen to.."
Just then, a rather tall man placed a hand on her shoulder.
He had brown hair that was slick back and if anyone saw him, he'd have the same bully trope in anime's.
Kang Ho Chun lightly placed her hand on her shoulder.
"Da Hee! You still haven't been to the school store yet? I'm Kang Ho Chun and this is Lee Ji Hoon. We're heading to the store, wanna come? Todays lunch sucks hard. Better to skip it."
Yoo Da Hee looked unsure first, still not over what just happenned before responding.
"Huh? Oh sure.. Let's go. I've always wanted to visit one in Korea, haha.."
"Oh really? English schools don't have them?"
Kang Ho Chun turned his attention to Kang Lim, as he stared him down whilst walking away. It was like a warning, to stay away from her.
'Scum.. I was honestly kinda excited. Since I knew what Da Hee liked and disliked. Man, life is fucking depressing.'
Each of the girls expressing turned sorrowful, feeling sorry for him, not knowing what's yet to come.
Scene shifts.
'Shit..'
Yoo Da Hee's thigh twitched on impulse as she grew impatient. She never remembered going with them to the store. Unsure on what to do, she faced the girls.
"Everyone.. I have something to say.." She spoke, a slight hesitation in her voice.
"What's wrong, sis?" Yoo Na Ri spoke next to her, tilting her head.
"How do I explain this.." She thought of something to say, before piecing it together.
"The me you're seeing, talking to those people.. I don't remember that."
"What?" The girls all said at the same time.
"Speak, what do you mean you don't remember? Kwon Miya asked.
"Well.. what I remember is that he told me he knew me from.. you actually." She looked at Seo Eun Young."
"Me? Darling knew me?"
"Yeah.." Yoo Da Hee responded, her face falling a bit.
"I think we should just.. keep watching.. or rather reading.." Jung Ah proposed.
They all gulped and nodded.
A cashier shouted out as Kang Lim walked out the convenience store.
"Thank you. Have a nice day~"
Kang Lim had his hands in his hoodie, with the black plastic bag around his arm.
'I didn't think of this in that morning chaos. But, Da Hee transferring is probably the 1st chapter of ESW.'
The scene shifted to show Kang Lim walking.. and the back ground.
None seemed to notice, but Jung Ah seemed to notice.
She was familiar with webtoons, so she could notice when something bad is gonna happen due to the suspense built. And in this case, it didn't help.
The starry night sky, the daft atmosphere, the way it's not even focused on Kang Lim but rather the background.
Everything screamed danger.
"Girls.. You should watch out.." Jung Ah warned them.
"Watch out for what?" Some asked.
"Just.. just watch.."
'Then wait, the story in the webtoon… Does it explicitly carry the oher the real world? What was the first chapter again? I can't remember vert well because it was too long.'
The scene shifted again, seemingly focusing more on the car behind Kang Lim.
'Doesn't…'
- Whoooooosh!
- Krshhh!
Kang Lim stopped in his tracks, his ears processing the sound.
"S-Someone!" Yoo Da Hee watched in fear.
"Yeah.. someone fell…" Ra Mi said, gulping slightly.
"But.. who?" Cha Sirin asked quietly.
"O-Oh No! That person!"
"Ahhhhhhh!"
Screams of horror and terror filled the street.
Someone had just fallen..
To their death..
Kang Lim watched in slight horror, as a memory popped back into him.
'I remember. ESW was a classic romantic that had the male lead saving the 6 female leads. And Yoo Da Hee's first appeal is..'
"The stalker…" The words escaped her voice, as her face slowly turned pale.
'No.No.No. It can't be. It just can't.'
'If my memory serves, during a rooftop scuffle with the stalker, the male lead saves Da Hee, and the two began seeing each other.'
Kang Lim watched in absolute horror as he took in the sight of a mangled corpse on top of a car. Fresh blood poured and dropped onto the floor, a reminder of what had happened and his first mistake.
'N-No!' Yoo Da Hee eyes widened as her hands covered her mouth. She didn't want o see this. She knew who this was. She didn't want to accept it.
'But unlike the webtoon..'
.
.
.
'..There's no male lead here!'
Kang Lim stared in pure shock as.. Da Hee's mangled corpse was rested upon the car. Blood protruded from her from all sides.
"SISTER!" Yoo Na Ri stood up, watching the scene with terror before walking to her sister and shaking her furiously.
"S-Sis! You're here!" She said, her tone hurried.
The other girls couldn't believe it.
Da hee.
Had died.
But she's here?
And she said she didn't remember this?
Kang Lim placed her mouth over her mouth, her bile threatening to escape.
"Is this 911?!"
"What do we do?!"
The world seemingly trembled, as if mourning over her death.
Kang Lim fell to his knees.
'..T-This wasn't supposed to happen! Just becuase there isn't a female lead..!'
The scene shifted, focusing on Da Hee's face.
A brutal sight, indeed. Da Hee layed there, tears escaping from her eyes. But it had been to late.
She had already died.
Yoo Da Hee fell into her sisters arms who was previously shaking her. The other girls quickly rushed to her aid, asking if she's alright.
Despite being rivals, and fighting for the same person, they still all cared for each other.
"I-I'm fine.. I just.. don't want to see me dying.."
"S-Sis.. just give me the word…" Na Ri whispered.
"Ha.. It's okay.. Na Ri." She fell on her chair, covering her eyes.
'This is too brutal! An innocent girl just!'
Kang Lim closed his eyes, not wanting to see the horror in front of him.
"Fuck.. what is this.."
The world shifted again.
As if it wasn't happy for the death of Yoo Da Hee, something shifted.
The screen grew distorted, the face of Kang Lim displaying a different color.
Till a voice woke him up. Or rather, brought him back to reality.
"Did you just do that to me? My lord.. Na Kang Lim.. come to my office after class."
..
..
..
'H-Huh?!'
There he was, Kang Lim.
Back at the classroom.
