Adrianna's Pov

I was going through the books Lyria brought for me, when I saw something, it was a book and I couldn't help but pick it, when I read it's heading, it read this: How to seduce a man.

I immediately knew this was lydia's doing, as much as I wanted to drop it, I couldn't, I r ad the first page and the next I couldn't get my eyes off the book.

I didn't realize 3 hours had passed until lyria came in to drop dinner.

Lyria: Dinner is ready, the king will soon be here, remember what I told you.

Adrianna: (she just nodded her head).

Adrianna's Pov

I waited for sometime, but the king was not forth coming, so I decided to continue my book, I was so carried away that I didn't notice when the king waited in.

Lord Divien: Are you trying to seduce me, my Queen.

Adrianna:(startled keeping the book behind her) No, I'm not, I just saw it among the books brought for me to read, so I decided to check it.

Lord Divien: I heard we are having dinner here.

Adrianna: yes (pointing to the table with food) we should eat before the food gets cold.

Adrianna's Pov

Well, the dinner was very quiet, after eating he was about leaving, when I swallowed a lump in my throat before saying;

Adrianna: (rushing her words) can you spend the night in my room.

Lord Divien: you said what?

Adrianna: (slowly) can you spend the night in my room, if you don't mind?

Lord Divien: okay, where is this going to?

Adrianna: Uhm, I was just thinking, since we are married, we should spend the night together, in one room, one bed.

Lord Divien: (looking at her suspiciously) And you literally just said you are not planning on seducing me?

Adrianna: No, I'm not.

Lord Divien: Don't try seducing me, my Queen because sooner or later, you'll regret it (in a seductive tone, leaning over and whispering into her eyes).

Adrianna: Don't come so close to me, next time.

Lord Divien: or else what?

Adrianna: I'll kiss you.

Lord Divien: well, My Queen, I'll love to see that happen (pulling her against his chest with his arm around her waist).

Adrianna's Pov

Without thinking , I locked my lips with his, kissing him softly, he slowly deepens the kiss, his hands crawled to my breast, pressing it softly, making me moan in-between our kiss, he kissed me more roughly, biting on my lower lip, before sucking it, it was both painful and sweet, and I liked it, he kept devouring my lips, while his hands kept toying with my breast. He suddenly stopped and pushed me slightly.

Divien's Pov

I couldn't believe she kissed me, from the way she kissed me, I noticed she wasn't good at it, so I deepened the kiss, but again, my beast was treatening to burst out of it's cage, so I had to push her away, before I harm her. But the moment I did, I saw the sadness in her eyes, and the tears that was about to pour out, staring into her eyes made me pained, but I had no other choice but to draw myself back.

Adrianna:why are you doing this? Why don't you want me?

Divien: I'm sorry, but I have to l leave (turning to leave).

Adrianna: (blocking the door) I'm asking you a question (with little tears falling from her eyes).

Divien: Adrianna, I said I have to be somewhere.

Adrianna: Away from me right? I knew you didn't love me from the start, but i didn't force you to marry me. Why did you bring me here to punish me, what did I do to you, why are you-----------

Lord Divien: (stopping her with a brief kiss). You don't know how much I want you, or how much I want to tease you with my lips, how much I want to be inside of you, how much I want to hear you scream my name, and beg for your own breath, you don't know how much I've longer to just place you on my bed and ride you till the next morning. You don't know all the bad things i desire to do to you, but I can't. So please respect my decisions (walks out of the room).

Adrianna's Pov

If he says the wants me so badly, then why can't he, what is he not telling me, I know he asked me to stop, but would I, I'm his wife, I'll just have to try, just one last time.

I closed my eyes trying to sleep, but I couldn't, all the things Divien said just kept replaying in my memory, I just prayed for morning to come quickly, after a long waiting, it finally did, but I barely slept, I was about drifting into sleep, when lyria woke me up.

Lyria: my princess.

Adrianna: ugh, what, what, what?

Lyria: what happened last night, did you finally-------------

Adrianna: (cutting her off) No, can I please sleep now?

Lyria: But why?

Adrianna: lyria, lock the door behind you, on your way out. Thank you (covering her ears with the pillow).

Lyria: (sighs and walks out)
