In a tragic turn of events, Lucas becomes a victim of a failed chemical experiment, leading to his death. He then finds himself in a new world where peculiar monstrous species reign supreme, technology has reached new heights, and humanity is on the verge of extinction.



Though the people are fighting the monsters, they are far from achieving victory.



Driven by his will to survive, Lucas volunteers to be a test subject for Project A.E.G.I.S. - Advanced Evolutionary Genetic Intervention for Survival, an experiment to fortify humans against otherworldly threats.
