"Mm, and then what?"
And then... she couldn't remember. Her memory went blank from that point on.
Bai Qi took a sip of coffee and shot his sister a look. "You threw up all over someone in the elevator."
"Oh." Lu Nansong didn't seem the least bit apologetic. "Well, that's his bad luck."
She took a couple more steps forward but suddenly felt something was off. She paused, turned her head, and asked, "He... isn't some big shot, is he?"
Bai Qi wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Not too bad. He's Fu Yu, the young master of the Fu family from Rongcheng."
"The Fu family from Rongcheng? That legendary underworld family?" Lu Nansong frowned.
Bai Qi: "Congratulations, you got it right."
Lu Nansong frowned again but then waved it off. "Whatever. He was the one who harassed me. If it comes to it, I'll just ask Second Brother to handle it."
When the underworld clashes, who wins is anyone's guess.
Bai Qi watched his little sister's carefree figure as she walked into the bathroom, feeling both helpless and nostalgic. It was like she was back to her childhood days, causing trouble while he and the others cleaned up after her.
It felt... kind of nice.

Lu Nansong took a hot shower and felt much more refreshed. As soon as she stepped out of the bathroom, her assistants arrived.
Two personal assistants came in carrying large and small bags, laying out clothes, shoes, jewelry, and handbags in front of her, waiting for the boss to make her selection.
Lu Nansong sat cross-legged on the sofa, sipping coffee while a hairstylist worked on her hair. She pointed at the items like a general commanding an army. "This one, this one, and this one."
After changing, Lu Nansong walked out of the suite. Instead of heading to the elevator, she turned a corner and stopped in front of Suite 77. She knocked politely on the door. "Knock, knock, knock."
The door opened from the inside, revealing a sleepy face. The man was quite handsome, wearing nothing but boxer briefs, his well-toned body on full display. Clearly, he was someone who hit the gym regularly.
Lu Nansong gave him a quick glance, showing no particular reaction. After all, she had seen such a physique countless times over the past three years—it was nothing new.
Fu Yu, annoyed at having his sleep interrupted, woke up a bit more when he saw the woman's face. He raised his peach-blossom eyes, still crusted with sleep, and said, "Isn't this the little wildcat from last night? What brings you here so early in the morning?"
"I heard I threw up all over you last night. This is to make up for it."
Lu Nansong tossed a brand-new suit into the man's arms. "You tried to grope me, and I hit you. I threw up on you, so I'm giving you a new suit. Let's call it even, okay?"
Fu Yu nodded. "Fair enough."
"Good. If you're still upset, feel free to come find me." Lu Nansong turned and walked away.
Fu Yu leaned against the door, intrigued. "But I don't even know who you are. How am I supposed to find you?"
Without looking back, Lu Nansong announced her name. "Nansong, from the Nan Corporation."
Fu Yu watched the woman's retreating figure, elegant as a little swan. His peach-blossom eyes twinkled. So, this was the legendary "resurrected" young lady of the Nan family.
His buddy was in for a rough time.
Fu Yu smirked, pulling out his phone. "Are you here yet? She just went downstairs."
In the lobby of the Shuiyunjian bar, the place was quiet early in the morning. Only one tall, cold figure sat in the center of the seating area, his gaze fixed on Elevator No. 1, waiting for someone to appear.
Five seconds later, the elevator doors slowly opened.
Yu Jinwen lifted his eyes and saw a woman walking out, dressed in a leather dress paired with a red blazer, both sexy and sharp. Her short hair couldn't hide her beautiful face, and her swan-like neck was particularly striking.
She walked as if she owned the place, the diamond earrings swaying slightly like wind chimes, adding a touch of冷艳 to her delicate features.
At the same time, as soon as Lu Nansong stepped out of the elevator, she saw the familiar, cold face sitting in the seating area.
Their eyes met with pinpoint accuracy.
