As the girls joined their parents in their respective cars, Hampton Jr. watched them drive away with a mixture of relief and annoyance. He was relieved that the hunting trip was over, but annoyed that his father had manipulated the whole thing to try and set him up with one of the girls.
Hampton Sr. turned to Jr. and said, "You know, son, you didn't get enough time with the girls today. Why don't you take the meat we hunted to their homes? Maybe you'll get to know them better."
Hampton Jr. rolled his eyes. "Dad, can't you just ask the guards to deliver the meat? Why do I have to do it?"
His father chuckled. "Because, son, I want you to have a chance to get to know those girls. You're not getting any younger, and it's time you started thinking about settling down."
Hampton Jr. felt a surge of frustration. "Dad, I don't like the games you're playing. I'm not interested in any of those girls."
But his father just smiled and patted him on the back. "Nonsense, son. You just need to give them a chance. Now, go deliver that meat and make a good impression."
Hampton Jr. sighed and reluctantly agreed to do as his father asked. He asked Alex and Joshua to come with him, and together they set off to deliver the meat to the girls' homes.
As they drove, Hampton Jr. couldn't help but think about the girls and their families. Joseph Alexandre, Angelina's father, was a successful businessman who dealt in electronics. Alehandro Danter, Joan's father, was a renowned doctor in Greenwood. Usher Kelly, Amanda's father, owned a recording company, and Christopher Dugan, Brenda's father, was the prime minister of Greenwood.
Hampton Jr. wondered what his father's motives were in trying to set him up with one of these girls. Was it just about securing a good marriage, or was there something more to it?
As they arrived at the first house, Hampton Jr. felt a sense of trepidation. What would the girls be like? Would he be able to make a good impression?
He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
