Chapter 65: A Hunting Trip

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and Hampton Jr. was itching to get out into the wilderness and do some hunting. He picked up his phone and dialed Alex's number, hoping that his friend would be available to join him.

"Hey, Alex, what's up?" Hampton Jr. asked, trying to sound casual.

"Not much, Jr. Just getting ready for lunch with my parents. They're coming over to visit," Alex replied.

Hampton Jr. chuckled. "Ah, nice. Give them my best. But I was thinking of going hunting today. Want to come with?"

Alex hesitated for a moment before responding. "Sorry, Jr. I'd love to, but I promised my parents I'd spend the day with them. Maybe next time?"

Hampton Jr. understood. "No worries, buddy. I'll catch you later."

He then dialed Joshua's number, hoping that his other friend would be available to join him.

"Hey, Josh! What's up?" Hampton Jr. asked, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"Not much, Jr. Just chillin' at home. What's up with you?" Joshua replied.

"I'm going hunting today. Want to come with?" Hampton Jr. asked, hoping that Joshua would say yes.

Joshua's response was immediate. "Heck yeah, I'm in! When do I need to be ready?"

Hampton Jr. grinned, feeling excited. "How about 30 minutes? I'll pick you up at your place."

Joshua agreed, and Hampton Jr. hung up the phone. He then called the guards to prepare the hunting gear and asked the butler to pack some essentials for the trip.

25 minutes later, Joshua knocked on the door of Hampton Jr.'s Jeep. "Hey, man! Ready to go?" he asked, grinning.

Hampton Jr. smiled back. "Born ready! Let's do this."

The two friends set off towards the hunting grounds, chatting excitedly about their plans for the day. When they arrived, they set up their tents and started a fire. They then put on their hunting gear and headed into the forest.

As they walked, Joshua turned to Hampton Jr. and asked, "By the way, how did it go with those girls from last time?"

Hampton Jr. chuckled. "Honestly, Josh? I'm not interested in any of them. They seem like drama queens, and I don't need that in my life."

Joshua laughed. "Fair enough, man. You deserve better than that."

Hampton Jr. grinned. "Thanks, buddy. Now let's focus on hunting. I want to catch us some big game."

Joshua nodded, and the two friends split up, each heading in a different direction to increase their chances of catching something.

The forest was quiet, except for the occasional bird chirping or leaf rustling. Hampton Jr. walked carefully, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of movement. He was determined to make this hunting trip a success.
