Chapter 76:A New Lease on Life

As they walked back to their shelter, the girls couldn't stop talking about the cassava roots. They were excited to learn more about this new food source and how to prepare it.

Bella smiled, happy to share her knowledge with her friends. "We have eaten it raw, but we're supposed to cook it or roast it," she explained. "We can also dry it and then get the flour out of it."

The girls looked at each other, intrigued. "How does it taste when it's cooked?" Lisa asked.

Bella's eyes lit up. "Good!" she replied. "We're going to have a nice meal today."

Without hesitation, Bella instructed the girls to help her carry some of the cassava roots back to their shelter. They each took a few roots and followed Bella, chatting excitedly about their new discovery.

As they approached their shelter, Bella couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. She had helped her friends find a new source of food, and they were all going to benefit from it.

The girls quickly got to work, preparing the cassava roots for cooking. Bella showed them how to peel and chop the roots, and then they set about building a fire to roast them.

As the aroma of roasting cassava filled the air, the girls' stomachs growled with anticipation. They couldn't wait to taste the cooked roots and experience the full flavor of their new food source.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the cassava roots were ready. Bella handed each of the girls a steaming hot root, and they dug in, savoring the delicious flavor.

The girls looked at each other, their faces filled with joy and gratitude. They knew that they still had a long way to go, but for the first time in days, they felt like they were going to make it.

As they ate their meal, Bella couldn't help but feel a sense of hope and renewal. They had found a new source of food, and they were all going to benefit from it.

The girls finished their meal, feeling full and content. They looked at each other, their faces filled with smiles.

"Thank you, Bella," Lisa said, her voice filled with gratitude. "We owe you one."

Bella smiled, feeling happy and proud. "We're in this together," she replied. "We're going to survive this, and we're going to do it together."
