Chapter 131: A Delicious Homecoming

Jr asked Bella why she hadn't slept yet, and she replied, "I didn't want to sleep before you came back. You seem tired."

Jr nodded, feeling grateful for her thoughtfulness. "Bella, you're so thoughtful," he said, smiling.

Bella smiled back and said, "Go and shower, then come for dinner. You must have had a long day on an empty stomach."

Jr agreed, feeling a rumble in his stomach. "Alright, future Mrs. Hampton," he said, hugging her and leaving for his room.

He first checked on the girls and his grandmother, making sure they were all safe and sound. Then, he headed to his room to shower and change into simple attire.

Meanwhile, Bella had been busy in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. She had learned to cook and was eager to try out her new skills on Jr. She had prepared rice fried with chicken, some gravy soup, and some greens, which she warmed up and set on the table. She had also mixed some passion juice with lime, creating a refreshing drink to accompany the meal.

Jr looked at her and said, "Even if you didn't tell me to try, I know it's definitely delicious." He picked up a fork and started eating, savoring the flavors and textures of the meal.
