Chapter 144: A surprise Dinner Guest

When they arrived at the mansion, the butler helped the guards take the food and meat inside. Bella instructed them to help clean the food, saying, "I'm coming to cook something."

Jr suggested that Bella rest, as she must be tired, but she insisted on cooking dinner. Jr hesitated, mentioning that they had chefs who could do the job, but Bella was determined to prepare something special.

Bella quickly cleaned up, changed into fresh clothes, and greeted her grandmother and the girls. She then headed to the kitchen to start cooking.

First, she cut the meat into pieces, washed and peeled the cassava, cutting it into small, medium-sized pieces. She washed the mushrooms and cooked a hearty meat stew. She steamed the cassava in banana leaves, which she had gathered from the forest, and fried the mushrooms with rabbit meat.

To quench their thirst, Bella prepared a refreshing hibiscus juice. As she set the table, the chefs and butler couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my God, what's this?"

Just as they were about to sit down for dinner, Hampton the Second arrived, and his eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene before him. The family had grown, with new faces at the table.

Bella stood still for a moment, then invited him to join them. "You're welcome to join us for dinner," she said.

Alex added, "Mr. Hampton, you're welcome."

Jr said, "Dad, please have a seat."

The girls looked at him curiously but remained silent.

Hampton the Second was still processing the unexpected gathering, but Bella served everyone, ensuring there was enough food for all. The table was filled with Old Mrs. Hampton, Lisa, Bianca, Bonita, Jr, Alex, Joshua, Bella, and now Hampton the Second.

As they began to eat, Hampton the Second couldn't help but ask, "What is this food?"

Old Mrs. Hampton replied, "Eat first, and our beautiful chef will explain later."

Hampton the Second took a sip of the juice and exclaimed, "I remember this juice! Isn't this the same juice you brought to the office a few days ago, Jr?"

Jr nodded, "Yes, Dad, someone makes it."

Hampton the Second's eyes sparkled with curiosity, eager to learn more about the delicious food and the new faces at the table.
