But the girl didn't yield. She danced between the strikes, her blade singing, her presence a beautiful black flame in the dusk.

She avoided getting a vital injury from six assailants stronger than her for a while, but she probably did not expect a sniper to be around. 

An arrow zipped towards her with extreme precision and impressive swiftness. 

Yet with a swift flash of the sword, the arrow was cleanly split in two. 

It was terrific, but...

That was what the assailants needed. An opening!

Riven tilted his head. "She's really good."

"She's not going to last," Selene said tightly.

Riven looked at her. "Now?"

Selene didn't answer, but her hands began to glow.

Riven nodded. "That's a yes."

With Riven's command, Solwing dived.

A streak of white fell from the clouds.

Wind tore at their robes as they descended, and in a sharp moment, Solwing flared its wings wide, bringing them down hard and fast.
