Chapter 26:
One Begets Two, Two Begets Three
The universe pulsed with an ancient rhythm, a truth older than time itself.
"One begets two, two begets three..."
Errin whispered the words, feeling their weight settle deep within his soul. They were more than mere philosophy; they were the essence of creation itself.
From the void came the first spark—one, singular and complete. But one could not remain alone; it fractured, begetting two, the forces of light and shadow, order and chaos, existence and emptiness. Yet, even these could not remain separate, for the struggle between them gave birth to three—the cycle, the flow, the ever-moving current of life.
"And three begets all things."
The realization struck him like a bell ringing through eternity.
His choices, his journey, his very existence—none of it was stagnant. He had been one, lost in singularity, bound by the weight of memories. He had become two, torn between past and future, between surrender and defiance. And now, he stood at the threshold of three, where possibilities multiplied, where his will shaped reality.
He saw it now.
Every life he had lived had been leading to this. Every mistake, every triumph, every moment of hesitation—each one a necessary fragment in the grand equation of his existence.
If he wished to step beyond fate, he could not remain one. He could not be just a memory or just a man.
He had to become three.
To embrace all that he was.
To shape all that he would be.
To create something new.
Errin took a deep breath, feeling the universe shift around him.
"One begets two, two begets three, three begets all things..."
With this step, he would no longer be just a wanderer.
He would be the beginning of something greater.
