Chapter 40:
THE PATH OF REBIRTH
Errin stood at the water's edge, his body renewed, his soul brimming with clarity. The trial had stripped him of doubt, reforging him into something more than mortal.
The blindfolded woman watched him with an unreadable expression. Though her eyes were hidden, he could feel their weight upon him, assessing, measuring.
"You have shed your past," she said, "but you have yet to claim your future."
Errin exhaled, feeling the power coursing through him. His body felt lighter, his senses sharper, his mind clearer. He had broken through a barrier he never knew existed.
But there was still one question.
"Who are you?"
The woman smiled, tilting her head slightly. "The one who will guide you to your next step."
She turned and began walking toward the distant mountain range. "Come, Errin. The valley still has much to teach you."
---Were you also in those visions? You were Naked?.....
She didn't answer directly but a sigh escaped her lips...You will get to know when the time is right..Come... Don't worry about those thoughts and visions...They are but mundane.Your body and mine are just but vessels, carriers of Souls.
Vessels? Carriers?
Souls...
