But when a botched mission leaves him drowning in repair fees, Ryo’s forced to partner with Amane, a delusional “magical girl” whose glitter-soaked FLARE is as powerful as it is embarrassing.



Amane, officially Risk Level B, believes their partnership is destiny—a union of justice and chaos. Ryo believes it’s a tax-deductible nightmare. Together, they’re thrust into the grimy underbelly of a society where FLARE energy is harvested, regulated, and weaponized. Aberrants—monstrous entities born from human despair—stalk the streets, while AetherCorp’s bureaucracy and NeuroSync’s shadowy agents tighten their grip on those who wield power.
