Apology [03]

"I'm fine, what about you?" Peter asked, smiling slightly as he sat down on the chair. "You look absolutely enchanting, by the way."

Felicia gave him a sly look, "Thank you; you don't look bad yourself."

They ordered some light stuff, and talked around for a bit, both knew why they were there. This wasn't a date, but since Felicia wasn't getting to the main point, Peter was giving her time.

Felicia knew that Peter was giving her time to say whatever she wanted to say to him, it was just that she'd never done this before. She'd never apologized to a boy, not after that bastard tried to ràpe her.

She'd basically constructed a wall around her that prevented every male from reaching her.

So she wasn't so very good at apologizing.

She always thought men were sex-driven and sex-craving monsters, and to a certain degree, she was certain that she was right. But there were men who weren't after pussy.

And Peter seemed one of them; she was genuinely enjoying her time with him today.

To the point she even considered what it would have felt like if he were her boyfriend. A thought she immediately tore to pieces.

And a thought that made her wake up. So, she quickly decided to get to the real reason as to why she'd asked him out on a 'date'.

She had to say though, Peter's rizz game was strong as fuck.

"Peter," she said slowly, sipping coffee. Why was she drinking coffee? She didn't know what to do other than that… and coffee gave her the nerve to say it out loud. "I'm sorry…"

She said it… she finally said it!

Felicia was so happy with herself. It wasn't as hard as she'd thought it would be. It was easy.

Peter, on the other hand, didn't forget to make a confused face.

He ignored the look of victory on her face though. It was pretty standard, after all. Conquering a fear, or even something as minor as saying sorry to some, can be quite victorious.

And as far as he knew, she was a 'rude' person that never apologized, or at least that was how she appeared to others. It might've just forced Felicia to not apologize, and to not say sorry.

It's an extremely simple word to say, but more often than not, it can be the most difficult thing to say to someone.

"What for?" Peter asked in confusion.

Of course, he needed to act the part of not remembering what she was apologizing for, even though he knew.

After all, he is supposed to appear as careless about her as he can. He does not care about her; a random hot girl from his school.

Felicia needs to understand that.

"Oh…?" Felicia let out a sound before recomposing herself. "I, I mean I'm sorry for being terrible to you."

Not just that, he needed her to say the things out loud so she could feel how terrible it was of her to do that to him.

It was manipulation, somewhat.

A thing people use almost daily without even knowing.

People are 'programmed' that way. Guilt tripping someone, making someone emotional by saying something, and much of other stuff.

A lot of people do it instinctually.

But Peter had some grasp over it, so he could use this 'asset' to his advantage.

Peter raised an eyebrow.

"You know…" Felicia shrugged. "How I made Miss. Maxwell teach you a lesson when you hadn't really harassed me or anything. Or how I've been terrible In general, like, you even helped me."

"Hmmm," Peter hummed, squinting at her, making it obvious on his face that he knew that she was hiding something. The real reason. "You know I don't care about that, right? Tell me the real reason."

Felicia shrunk slightly, and shifted uncomfortably on her chair. Her feet shifted slightly, and she started tapping her forefinger on the table.

"Um," she seemed at a loss for words, and her cheeks were flushing slightly. She was embarrassed, Peter bit back a chuckle. How cute. "Y-you see, I saw you dragging Jessica away-not that I was spying on you or something-and I thought that, you know, like, might be forcing her to do things she didn't want to do."

Now that Felicia thought of it, she really did think of the worst-case scenario; why though? She wasn't sure.

"And, you know, I ended up thinking the worst that you were going to force yourself on her. I hate that."

Peter propped both his hands on the table. He rested his elbows down on it, and leaned forward on his hands.

"Wow…" he wowed. "I'm quite the bad person in your eyes, huh."

Felicia winced, not sure why she was doing this in the first place. Why was she feeling bad about this? She wasn't a person like this at all. So why was she…

"Go on…" Peter sighed. "I sense a story there."

Felicia chewed on her lower lip.

"I asked Spider-Man for help?"

"Oh, cool." Peter did chuckle this time. "So I'm a criminal now too."

"I didn't mean that!" Felicia hissed. "Listen! I didn't know, okay? I asked his help, and he suggested we go ask Jessica about it; we did. Turns out you're just helping her with her powers. I'm sorry! What do you want me to do?!"

Peter gave her a cold, silent look, and Felicia flinched back into her seat.

"Look, Felicia, I don't want your apology; I don't want anything from you. You're the one who came to apologize and I'm grateful for that."

"But," he stood up and circled the table with calm, and collected footsteps. Felicia gulped as he got behind her, and slid his hands on top of her shoulder before diving down himself, his face coming near her right ear as she squirmed on the chair.

"If you tell anyone about Jessica's or my so-powers, you'll have to answer me." He whispered against her earlobe, his hot breath trickling down from her ear to her neck, and down to her bare shoulders. Felicia shivered slightly, her heart skipping a beat.

Peter then walked back to his seat and sat down like a gentleman.

Meanwhile, Felicia was left in her mind.

… What the actual fuck?

She couldn't believe she felt 'that' way because of this man. Even though he just threatened her, she… she felt like wanting that treatment more.

… She felt just like when her kleptomania acted up. Her heartbeat hastened, her stomach had this weird feeling, and she felt thrilled in general.

It was a feeling she liked.

But the problematic part was that she was feeling this way because of how he treated her… and that was unsettling.

Was her kleptomania somehow affecting her? She did recall her kleptomania acting up back when Peter made that golden sparkly thingy come out.

Was that some way or another having an effect on her? It was a fucking scary thought. It was only now that she realized how dangerous her kleptomania was, and how much it could affect her.

"Felicia?" Peter's calm and somewhat gentle voice called out to her, and Felicia's attention was torn away from her mind and onto this man.

"Y-yes?" She stuttered.

"Why are you so flushed?" He looked worried. What? Were her cheeks red? "I mean, are you sick or something? Should we go to a doctor?"

"N-no," Felicia took in a deep breath. "I'm… fine."

Peter stared at her for a while before an almost enlightened look appeared on his face.

"Wait, did I scare you somehow? If so, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I just whispered in your ears because I don't want that information getting caught in some camera or microphone."

That's not it dummy…

Felicia was genuinely red.

Not because she was afraid, not because she was sick. Not because her kleptomania might be acting up, even.

She was red because of a simple reason.

… She was wet.

When he came and whispered in her ear, her pussy somehow spasmed out some juices. She didn't climax or anything, it was just that she became wet for some reason.

And that was very embarrassing.

Was it really her kleptomania or was she some sort of a pervert? A pervert who got turned in by being treated like… that?

A closet pervert that just discovered her kink?

Somehow, she wasn't against this idea.

Felicia knew that she was loose in the head, somewhat, so it wouldn't be that strange if it turned out like that.

"Are you sure?" Peter asked with some concern seeping through his tone, concern that made her even more flustered.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."

Why the fuck is she thinking like this for someone else's man?!

He had a girl, didn't he?!

FUCK!

Felicia was annoyed.

Honestly, after that incident in freshman year, she couldn't feel anything toward any man. That's why she turned to girls, to release those pent-up emotions.

But, but, but now that she finally felt something, or just had to be someone she couldn't be with.

What an irony.

Felicia chuckled.

"That's good," Peter gave her a relieved smile, and Felicia flushed a little further.

She tipped the coffee while thinking of something really really strange, and weird.

… Maybe she should steal this man?

But she threw this away almost instantly; she didn't want to hurt a girl's feelings just so she could get with a man.

"Anyways," she slammed the cup on the table to distract her mind from these terrible and scary thoughts that reminded her too much of a yandere girl from any anime. "I wanna see that golden circle thingy."

She demanded, which was just cute in Peter's eyes.

"Sure," he said, and stood up. Then, he offered Felicia a hand. "Let's go somewhere more private then."

Without thinking much, Felicia caught his hand, and stood up.

"What about paying 'em?"

"Don't worry," Peter said, he'd already paid them, more than enough for a few meals.

While they walked, Peter was having a difficult time keeping a straight face.

Why?

Because he was seeing her [Status] with [Sexual Sight] right now.

Name: Felicia Hardy

She's afraid of what she recently discovered about herself. About her 'kink' so to say-which she thinks is being dominated by you. Or your fear.

She's afraid. She knows she wants to steal you, but is afraid. She doesn't want to hurt Gwen since she of all people knows how that feels better than anyone. Why? Because Betty was 'stolen' from her by that fat pig, Ned. At least that's what she thinks.

A yandere in development

Dayum…

Peter was quite surprised by what he was seeing. This was… really unsettling, exciting, and confusing at the same time.

He was really surprised at the big jump in her stats. She, quite literally, hated him just a few days ago, and now, she was somewhat head-over-heels for him.

To be honest, this was kind of bullshit. He didn't believe he could have this big an effect on someone.

Plus… she's a yandere in development.

He's fucked, isn't he?

Peter suddenly laughed in the middle of their walk, and shrugged it off, ignoring the weird look Felicia was giving him.

'What's life without a little crazy?'

Chapter 75

75: A Black & Red Issue [01]

Felicia Hardy would have to admit, she was having the time of her life with Peter Parker; he was not a dickhead, he was not a bastard, he was not a ràpist. In fact, after spending today with him, she could confidently say that he is the nicest guy she'd ever met.

And she really liked being with him.

It was almost to the point that she was thinking she might be in love with him, which was crazy, to be honest. She'd never considered any boy or man as her possible partner, especially after the attempted ràpe assault on her.

She had been, quite literally, disgusted with men. Her mind, her trauma didn't let her be with a man after, and she'd leaned more toward women since Felicia was bi in the first place.

But Parker changed her mind, and in the process, he might have awakened some side of kleptomania inside her. A side that wanted to steal him from Gwen, who was his lovely girlfriend.

This was a terrible thing to even think about, but Felicia couldn't help but think again and again. What would it feel like to have him as a boyfriend and even a possible husband in the future?

He seemed to have some kind of powers too, so he could protect her as well. She could really spend her time with him but that was not possible.

As she sat on the bench staring at Peter talking with someone on the phone, Felicia couldn't help but scowl, feeling extremely jealous and envious.

It was Gwen, wasn't it?

Felicia gritted her teeth.

That bitch dared to bother them on their date? Felicia was enraged.

It wasn't like she was going to steal him from her, right? So why couldn't Gwen let them have some time?!

Felicia took a deep breath. Yes, she shouldn't be thinking like that.

For all she knew, there could be an emergency. Yes, that's right, Gwen, wouldn't have even allowed Peter to come and meet her if she didn't want him to do so.

Felicia had no right to say anything or feel jealous or call Gwen a bitch. Not even anything similar. It was Felicia who was crossing the line here; she shouldn't even be thinking like that about Peter.

He was someone else's man, Felicia couldn't take him, she shouldn't steal him.

But she really wanted a piece of that man.

Felicia's toes curled, her stomach lurched as if she was being tickled, and her face flushed. Her mind was hazy, and her eyes had this very strange glint inside.

She really really really wanted to go and kidnap Peter, tie him up in her house, and don't let him meet anyone but herself.

Keep him to her, and her alone.

Felicia slapped her cheeks, and pinched them hard, wincing. Fuck. Is she going crazy?

Felicia was perplexed.

But she didn't have any time to think of the matter as Peter walked back to her, a strange look on his face.

"Hey," he said apologetically. "I might need to leave."

"What? Why?" Felicia blurted without thinking, her voice laced with annoyance. Why did he have to leave again?

She blushed, thinking, calm down girl, falling too deep too fast!

"Uh…" Peter, on the other hand, didn't know what to say to her.

George just called him, and told him how Yuri got kidnapped. He didn't seem to know he was talking with Peter. Why? Because Peter had given this number to Yuri, she should use this number if she ever wanted to talk with 'Spider-Man'.

And George using that number only meant that he couldn't find her, and was seeking Spider-Man's help. Now, how did he have the number? Peter had told Yuri to give it to him for emergencies.

Peter trusted the man, and he specifically told Yuri to tell him that he should only use it when absolutely necessary.

So Peter was sure that the situation was out of hand if George decided to call him.

"It's an emergency," Peter said.

But Felicia still seemed pissed.

They weren't dating, for God's sake…

Peter sighed.

Maybe he could give her a shock or something?

Peter thought over it for a few seconds.

"Gwen's having some issues in the hospital." He said in the end.

It was, kind of, true. Gwen really was having issues in the hospital. she was pregnant yet her baby had stopped growing, which was an alarming thing, and where Peter was worried, he wasn't going to brood over it.

Peter wasn't like that.

Anyways, Peter wasn't going to tell Felicia anything about the pregnancy, but saying that Gwen was having issues in the hospital wasn't that suspicious.

"Huh?" Felicia's annoyance vanished, and some clarity returned back to her face.

She had been, quite literally, growling like a real cat for a while now, with a scowl visible on her visage. Peter blamed her cat mutant genes.

Though she looked more cute than anything else, just like a real cat.

He almost couldn't stop himself from grabbing her cheeks and playing with them.

The cheeks and the 'cheeks' both. Peter would give love without discrimination, after all, like a true gentleman.

'Ahem,'

"So, yeah," Peter shrugged. "I need to go," Peter sighed at her downcast expression.

Why the fuck was she being this expressive?

Peter just patted her head.

"There, there," he chuckled when she swatted his hand away with a scowl. "We'll go play around some other day."

"… Okay."

Surprisingly, she agreed easily.

After Peter was done with her, he quickly teleported to an alleyway, and then with his suit on, he made his way to a certain police office.

He, of course, knew where George was stationed at. So, he made his way there.

It wasn't difficult to find, and it was not at all difficult to infiltrate without anyone noticing. All Peter had to do was cast an illusion spell on himself, and nothing else. His suit did the rest, and he sauntered inside like he owned the place.

It took him a bit of time to find George. Upon finding the man, Peter observed for while.

George was sitting on his chair with a table full of files, and reports. They were quite a lot in number, that much Peter would have to agree on. George was aggressively looking through the files, at a rapid pace, a constant frown on his face.

A frown that didn't leave his face for even a second, even after a lot of time passed, enough time for the files to vanish. Peter squinted as George slammed the last report on the table. George sighed, and slumped back into his chair, his hand going up to massage his tired eyes.

It seemed that he had quite the day today.

Peter sighed, and sat on the chair in front o George, with nothing but a table between them.

Then, Peter canceled the Invisibility spell.

He appeared out of nowhere, and coughed to get George's attention.

To which, the latter bolted up, his hand tearing the gun from his side and aiming at him.

Peter raised his hands in surrender.

"Calm down George, it's me, Spider-Man," Spider-Man said, staring at George, or so the latter assumed as he couldn't really see the face behind the mask.

George's frown grew heavier.

For how long had Spider-Man been there?

Hmmm.

"Took you long enough," George said, sitting back into his chair, wondering how Spider-Man even got here in the first place, was their security that shitty?

No, that couldn't be it. George took a breath to calm himself, he'd been a bit startled by the sudden appearance of Spider-Man.

He knew that his senses had dulled a bit, he was getting old after all, but George was sure his senses weren't that dull to not notice Spider-Man. It had to be something else.

Some sort of invisibility tech, maybe? Hmm, that could be quite useful.

"Well, I've been here for a while now, just didn't want to bother you since you were working. It seemed important to you."

George sighed.

"What happened?" Spider-Man asked, his tone indicating that he wasn't here for bullshit, but he was serious about this.

George was a bit surprised, he knew that this Spider-Man and one of his officers, Yuriko Watanabe, had quite an intimate relationship, but George had never thought that it could be this much.

Hmm. He could use this as an asset, and could prove quite useful in the future.

Anyways, it was surprising how Yuriko managed to 'woo' Spider-Man. Did that mean she knew his identity? Possibly, yes, but George wasn't going to pry into that.

Spider-Man was helping them clear the scum of the city, more so, he had the public on his side, George wasn't stupid enough to offend this man.

Not like it was personal.

"I don't know," George said. "Officer Yuriko was going home, I suppose, when she vanished from the radar. We couldn't find her, have been trying for a while now. Is like she just, vanished."

Spider-Man visibly tensed, It was subtle, but George had years of experience on his side.

So he was right, Yuriko held quite the place in this young man's life.

Spider-Man had to be a young man if he were together with Yuriko. Then again, this all was speculation on George's part, so he could be wrong. It could be that they weren't together.

Although it wasn't a feasible possibility for George, especially since he'd seen Yuriko with Spider-Man quite a lot.

She was going to a previous mission's location a lot, so of course, George had gotten curious. Following her had led him to the warehouse.

George presumed it was Spider-Man's base. Some kind of temporary base or something.

It wasn't George's business.

Some of the public and even officials might call Spider-Man a vigilante, but for George, this young man was doing him a favor by cutting his work in half.

After all, because of this, George could spend more time with his lovely daughter.

Who was pregnant too, so George was quite worried about her all the time. Especially since the last check-up. He'd been terribly worried. The baby was fine, and Gwen was fine, but something was definitely happening if the baby stopped growing.

It was so worrying.

Just because of this, George had not told Peter or his aunt. They'd worry. George wanted to find some solution so that this problem could be solved.

Anyways, he'd derailed off-topic.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Spider-Man's voice had a low guttural tone to it. Then, he sighed, "Any lead? Suspicion? Anything?"

George hesitated.

He had brought this up to the higher-ups, but they didn't listen to shit.

Maybe…

"I suspect it has something to do with the recent murders around Queens and Manhattan."

George felt the temperature drop.

"Hmm," Spider-Man sounded, his tone calm, collected, and monotonous. "Continue, please."

"Yes," George was calm; it wasn't like the years of experience were for nothing. He'd been trained to be calm in situations like these. "The previous victims were kidnapped like this too."

"That's quite vague, captain," Spider-Man said, coldly.

"An old man's intuition, If you would," George shrugged.

He and Spider-Man maintained eye contact for a few seconds, George thought so, at least, as the eyes were hidden behind the glass pieces.

Peter sighed as he looked at George.

"Captain…" He said. "Just… give me everything on this case. Anything."

George nodded; he knew the situation.

Sure, a police officer might not be that important to the higher-ups, as they were quite passive on this situation-which enraged George no less than it should-but Yuriko was important to George.

She was like another daughter.

Yeah, it was a bit weird, but George really thought of her as such.

So, George stood up, and started gathering files and reports, everything he could find.

He was already stressed due to Gwen's problem, and Yuriko's situation just made it worse for him.

Peter, on the other hand, stored every file in [Inventory] and cast an illusion spell, vanishing without saying anything to George, who slumped back into the chair when Spider-Man vanished, and started rubbing his shoulders and eyes.

Peter then teleported to the warehouse, and moved things around.

Then, he set up everything he found in his [Inventory] relating to this case, and started looking for clues or anything else.

No matter what, he was going to find Yuri.

Chapter 76

76: A Black & Red Issue [02]

Even after messing around for a while, Peter didn't find anything that could lead him to Yuri.

He looked at the time; it was already 5:30 in the afternoon. He'd been searching all morning and hadn't found anything other than some really weird and gruesome dead bodies.

There was nothing but a single similarity between all the bodies.

They were headless. No one had been able to identify any of them yet.

Peter sat down on a bench near the scene where a murder like this took place.

He'd just gone and investigated the surroundings, but he hadn't been able to find anything.

The murders had gotten so out of hand that many bodies weren't even found yet. The police had set up a special task force to investigate the case, of which Yuri was in charge of, but they seemed to be having no luck either.

Yuri ended up being kidnapped.

Peter knew that he was on the clock. The motherfucker could kill Yuri at any time, and Peter wouldn't even know where she was…

Wait…

Peter's eyes widened; he'd just remembered something.

He had placed that protection spell on Yuri, no? And if Peter remembered correctly, he might even be able to locate her through that protection spell.

Why? Because the spell was designed in such a way that if she were to be in danger, Peter would know her location, meanwhile the spell would protect her.

How had he forgotten this?!

Peter gritted his teeth.

Wait… If Yuri had that spell on her and she was kidnapped, why didn't the spell activate? Why did it not send him her location?

Peter squinted his eyes.

There was only one possibility.

The spell had not detected any type of danger to her.

Peter trusted the spell form, it was made by the Ancient One, after all, so he believed that there wasn't any reason to doubt the spell's accuracy.

But what if the spell itself had been tampered with? What if someone had set up a trap to make sure that the spell would never detect any danger?

Hmm, it was a possibility too. If the murderer was someone who was in contact with the mystic arts.

But he or she would have to be at Ancient One's level if they were to do that.

So, Peter really doubted that possibility.

It was more probable that Yuri's life was not in danger, and that's why the spell didn't send an alert to Peter.

Now the question was, how can he find Yuri using that spell?

The spell forms were on her person, so Peter could probably use them to locate her also. The question was, how?

Peter sighed. There were so many questions.

He couldn't waste any more time. He needed to find Yuri, now.

Peter stood up and started walking again.

This time, to an alley, so he could teleport to Kamar-Taj.

He would ask for the Ancient One's help. She would help him, probably. She was his teacher, so she might just help him. After all, she'd helped him a lot of times.

With spells, papers, and even finding the reason behind his kid's stagnant growth.

So, one more help couldn't hurt, right?

Peter thought to himself.

Walking out of the portal, Peter was greeted by the ever mind-blowing scene of Kamar-Taj. The sun was shining in its full glory.

The sky seemed to be on fire, burning with a bright orange hue. It looked like the entire place was under attack from an army of fire-breathing dragons.

Peter sighed, diverting his attention away from the captivating scenery. It wasn't time to be amazed at the scenery; Peter had work to do.

Meet the Ancient One, and ask for help.

So, he quickly headed towards her chambers, he would ask her a about the spell and how to find Yuri.

He moved through the palace corridors, heading straight toward where he felt Ancient One was. As he approached, he saw that all of the doors were open as if someone had left them like this.

But Peter paid them no heed, and just walked inside her chamber. Of course, he knocked.

- Knock

"Teacher-"

Before Peter could say anything, he was fired back due to some kind of force.

"Whoa," Peter was startled, and he would have done something extreme if it weren't for the voice ringing in his head.

"I'm busy, don't disturb me. I know why you're here. I'll send you near her location, handling the situation is up to you entirely."

Then, before Peter could fully register those words, he found himself moving through a portal.

It burst open to some other place, and he was sent skidding on the ground.

Peter came to a stop, and stood up, dusting his suit.

For fuck's sake… She could've just sent him easily, without breaking a sweat, so why did she have to be so aggressive?

Peter sighed, and took in his surroundings.

He was in a desolate place. There was nothing but some kind of abandoned factory, a lake on the side, and New York City in the far distance.

The abandoned factory was, as he would expect, desolate. As far as he could see, there was no indication of life.

The factory itself, however, had some light inside it, and the glow came from a few dim lights scattered around on the floor.

It seemed to be coming from an old furnace in the back corner, which was now emitting its warmth into the cold night air.

Now, why was a furnace there? Peter didn't know.

This was probably some kind of metal factory or something.

Peter walked inside without hesitation. Of course, he didn't forget to cast an invisibility spell on himself.

Then, he walked in while his senses were spread out to spot everything.

He didn't see anything.

It was strange…

- Boom!

A loud explosion resounded from the side, and something red came hurling at him.

Peter was surprised, how could it see him?

Peter would have dodged anyway, but a black creature leaped from another place and smashed into the red one.

- Bam!

A screech resounded as the black creature's punch pushed through the red one. And they both fell to the ground, sliding and slamming into the factory wall.

Peter, for the first time, got a good look at them.

It was Venom, and Carnage.

Goosebumps erupted from Peter's body, a mixture of his spider-sense and his surprise.

What were these two doing here?!

Peter was bewildered.

He had expected Venom's existence, but he hadn't found anything substantial. And now, he found both Venom and Carnage.

Peter scowled, and jumped up, toward the two behemoths fighting. They weren't as small as the one's in the Venom movies. Peter was not sure how they got so big. Both were at least Hulk's size.

Before Peter could do something, he was grabbed by Venom's big ad black veiny hand. It was disgusting, and slimy… but surprisingly strong.

"Let go of me!"

Peter struggled against it, but Venom was too strong for him.

Venom released its grip, and looked down at Peter with those glowing eyes.

"Get away," there was a guttural tone to it, a tone that sent shivers down Peter's spine.

Fuck… Peter was unprepared, he wasn't even sure how strong this version of Venom was.

"We don't want you to interfere, bug." Venom growled, his teeth glinting between the black slime that was his body. Then, the black monstrosity was gone, jumping at Carnage who was coming Peter's way.

Carnage saw Venom coming, and moved out of the way. But before he could react, Venom's fist came flying.

Carnage felt the impact of Venom's blow, and he got thrown back into the wall.

But he was strong, too, so he stood up without a breath and slammed his red arm into Venom's face.

"YoU WiLl nOt sTOp uS FrOm HaVInG ouR ReVenGE, FATHER!" Carnage screeched, his voice similar to that of nails being scratched on a blackboard, or the breaks of a train.

Peter and Venom winced.

Peter wasn't sure what was going on, but he just remembered that he was here for Yuri.

He was torn out of his mind. Where was she?!

Peter looked around, and sure enough, there she was, lying unconsciously on a chair.

He would have walked up to her immediately, but he noticed that the whole room had gone quiet.

He didn't know what it meant at first-it seemed like both Venom and Carnage had stopped fighting, but he was wrong.

- Boom!

A loud, ear-piercing explosion resounded, and the shockwave hurled Peter away. He hit another wall hard, and then fell onto the floor.

This time he was a bit hurt.

His head throbbed and his body ached a little.

Peter wasn't sure what had happened.

So, he quickly stood up, and looked around, only to find Venom pinned to the ground, with a really fucking jacked Carnage on top.

It seemed that Carnage had slammed Venom over his shoulder, the impact to the ground was so big that a crater had been formed.

The factory was shaking a bit, and Venom was on the ground, heaving up and down slowly, a guttural sound with a low rumble into it was ringing in the vicinity.

There were protrusions of Carnage's body, spikes, inside Venom. But the symbiote didn't seem to be reacting to this. Instead, it just kept devouring Venom.

Carnage ripped out a huge chunk of Venom, and then started chewing it ferociously.

Venom growled, slamming his hand, which was jacked with slime, into Carnage's face.

But instead of making contact, the punch moved through Carnage's face. Carnage's face distorted, and the symbiote expanded to Venom's fist, and farther toward the black symbiote itself.

Venom growled.

But Carnage didn't relent.

The face of Carnage could be seen a little, and Peter wasn't surprised to see Cletus Kasady.

Hmm.

Peter just sighed and jumped, he was not just going to stand on the side and let Carnage consume Venom.

"Carnage!" Peter yelled.

Carnage opened his mouth wide and swallowed Venom's, and in extension, Eddie Brock-possibily-whole.

Venom growled aloud, his and Eddie's voice overlaying atop each other as his limb regenerated at a visible pace.

- Bam!

That's when Peter's feet slammed into Carnage's face.

Peter's feet sunk into the face like he was standing on sand, and Peter's spider sense blared.

Peter couldn't really do anything, his feet were stuck, and Carnage was too fast.

A red hand came crashing down on his face, and Peter felt his world wobble.

Carnage grabbed his mouth, and slammed him head first into the concrete ground.

- Bam!

Peter's head spun, and his vision wobbled.

He tried to move, but his legs wouldn't budge.

His head hurt like a bitch, and he was feeling drunk. A constant high frequency was blasting into Peter's ears.

He knew that if he weren't Spider-Man, his head would have been slammed to paste by now, and he'd have been dead.

Peter couldn't move.

Then he heard a roaring noise.

He looked around with his aching head and saw that Venom was up on his feet.

He walked to them, his legs wobbling.

Peter didn't even know for how long Venom and Carnage had been fighting.

"You," Cletus said, not Carnage, as his face emerged out of the symbiote. Cletus stared at Peter, and his face scrunched. "I rEMemBer YOU!"

Cletus' voice got clouded by Carnage's screeching voice, and Peter was grabbed again, then he was slammed around.

"WE REMEMBER YOU," Carnage growled, his hateful voice irritating Peter's ears.

Peter wasn't sure what this ugly mug was talking about.

He didn't remember meeting Cletus at all.

Then how could this fucker have met him?!

Peter had had enough.

As Carnage grabbed him by the face again, Peter glared at the fucker.

And activated [Release].

Chapter 77

77: A Black & Red Issue [03]

- Flashback -

- Back To Chapter 04 -

Cletus Cortland Kasady had always felt left out.

He was born to a dead mother, apparently died after a few minutes of birth, and came back to life just after. It had been deemed a miracle of 'God'.

But Kasady had never believed such bullshit as Gods, he knew that they existed, but he also knew that they didn't care for men. But that wasn't the thing that made him come back to life.

No one but him knew the truth. He had died, gone to hell, and come to life in this cruel and mean fucking world.

He had seen one thing though, a man sitting on top of a throne made of skulls. He couldn't forget that, ever. Who that man was, or what he was, Kasady didn't know, but it was certain that he was a 'God'.

But Cletus didn't care about that.

He got handed to a mother who loved her fucking dog more than him, but he didn't care about that.

He killed the dog, but never got that love, Kasady didn't care for that.

Kasady's eyes fell on the woman in front of him. Her ass was bouncy, and juicy. Cletus couldn't help but think of his girl.

That one girl… he'd melted.

But even she…

Kassady sighed as he walked, eying the woman walking in front of him from time to time. He was in a public place… fuck it.

Kasady grinned like an idiot, and started acting 'suspicious'.

As expected, the woman noticed that he was following her. She panicked, but kept her cool. Cletus almost laughed, but he refrained himself, only letting a small giggle out. The woman heard it, or so he suspected, if the increase in her pace was of any indication.

She started taking turns, making sure to confirm if he really was following her. She didn't ask for help from anyone.

How cliché; Cletus did chuckle this time.

And the woman panicked.

They were already in a desolate place, and it appeared that she noticed that she'd roamed to a lonely place.

Aww.

Cletus almost felt bad for her as she started running.

He let her do so.

After all, she was running into an alley since her mind wasn't working properly.

It didn't take long for her to reach a stop.

And Cletus didn't let her run anymore.

She was beautiful, but surely not as beautiful as his girl… his Frances.

Ahhh. Cletus sighed, he needed to go find her.

Those were his exact thoughts as he tore the woman's clothes, smacking her tits, and flicking her cunt as she screamed for help.

Cletus' eyes formed arcs of amusement, and as he could not take it in anymore, he took out his cock, lining it against her pussy.

"NOOO! Please!" the woman sniffled. "Please don't d-do it."

Cletus gave her a sympathetic look, feeling bad for her.

… but he still pushed his cock inside her in a single thrust.

The woman stiffened, and let out a loud cry.

Cletus looked down.

… blood.

"Heh"

A chuckle.

"Hahahahaah!"

… That turned into a full-blown cackle as he started moving, ramming her hard.

Cletus' eyes arched further, and his lips twitched into a deranged smirk.

He would enjoy this to the fulles-

- Bam!

Cletus felt a hard impact on his nose bridge, and with a sickening crunch, he was hurtled back, his cock slipping out of the woman.

Cletus was feeling extreme pain, a metallic taste was slipping into his throat, going down to his stomach. He could feel it. How delightful.

The pain was immense, but he could only squirm as he enjoyed it.

But soon enough, he noticed that his brain was quite shaken, and his vision was wobbling.

W-what?

He remembered what he was doing.

Right, where's the woman?

He questioned himself as he looked around with his eyes.

… There was no woman… there was no meal for the day. Instead, Cletus' eyes landed on the man who had punched him so out of the blue.

Why did he do that?

What did Cletus do?

He was just having a normal day!

Complaining inside his mind, Cletus tried to stand up… but he found out that he couldn't move.

Cletus saw the woman running away.

Why?

He wasn't done dammit!

Cletus groaned, glaring at the man with hate, swearing revenge.

He would kill everyone related to this man, rápe any and every woman close to him. He would do so much.

… If only he could move.

The man stared at him for a while, but ran away after a while, leaving him to his misery.

Why?

Cletus could only think.

He wasn't feeling pain anymore.

… Even the pleasure was gone.

Kasady couldn't move, his hands and legs weren't responding. Why? What happened?

Cletus didn't find the answer to that, not until the next morning when he was arrested, kind of, and brought to the hospital.

He'd panicked when he'd seen the deformed mess that was his face when he saw it for the first time.

His Frances!

How would she recognize him like this?!

Cletus had never felt the amount of rage he'd felt that day. But he could do nothing about that rage, for he couldn't move anymore. He couldn't do anything. He was, apparently, moved inside a special hospital that was for criminals. He was treated. But he never returned back to normal.

He was moved into a prison after that.

Sentenced imprisonment for life.

All of this happened because of that fucking MAN!

Cletus was so hateful he hadn't even recognized his Frances when she, apparently, came to meet him once, in prison, disguised.

Oh how much Cletus regretted that.

She had broken up with him because of that.

He'd cried when he found that out.

Why his Frances…?

Even she…?

All because of that fucking man… yes, it was all that man's fault.

If only he had not come into Cletus' life.

If only he had let Cletus have his way with that woman.

Cletus had lived the remaining days in despair. Or was it months…? Cletus didn't remember anymore. Not like he had something to determine that here in this prison.

His Frances didn't come back again.

He got a new cellmate though.

But even that bastard escaped with some sort of black suit.

Though whatever it was, it was gone, and Cletus was thankful for that. Oh, and he escaped, he wasn't going to let go of this chance. He needed to go back and make his Frances love him back again. He had seen to it; he couldn't live without her. He needed his Francis. So he would work hard to reclaim her.

Cletus tried finding her, but he couldn't. He did find one thing about himself though, apparently, he had a friend living inside him now. His other. His brother. Cletus gave in to his other, since the latter promised to help find his Frances. Ah, not his, actually, their Frances.

They named themselves Carnage.

And began their journey to find their mate, Frances.

But it seemed, to Cletus, that his brother was quite the glutton. He had to eat many heads daily so his brother could at least function properly.

Carnage could do many things, make him stronger, heal his deformed face for him so that his Frances would recognize him, give him extra hands, and so much more, but it seemed he required heads, or more specifically, brains. He needed to eat brains to keep himself full at all times so he could function properly.

So, Cletus worked hard to eat as many puny human brains as possible. This world was a fucking meanie, Cletus didn't think it would miss a few humans. While Cletus and his brother, could use their useless brains as fuel.

Everything to find their Frances.

Anyways, Cletus was jumping from building to building. Apparently, there was a green big mean monster terrorizing the New York citizens. So, as Cletus was so strong now, he decided to help the puny humans. And maybe eat the brain of the green monster, it would certainly be bigger than the others.

But it seemed it wasn't desired by the mean world.

Spider-Man, this new 'vigilante' that had popped out recently, defeated the green man before Cletus could be the hero.

How hateful.

Cletus spat and decided he would kill this man today.

But as he followed, he noticed that this puny human had some kind of… sense? Yes, something like that. He could probably sense him if he got too close. So, Cletus tried to hide his presence as much as possible.

To the point, that it seemed that Spider-Man couldn't sense him in the slightest.

Carnage followed him for a while, waiting for an opportunity.

But his world turned upside-down when Spider-Man's suit vanished inside him, similar to how Carnage would go inside him. But that wasn't the issue here.

Kasady recognized the face behind the mask.

It was the same bastard who was the reason behind Cletus' misery.

- Present -

The explosion that erupted out of Peter's body was enough to make Carnage and Venom screech as their slim-like bodies vibrated in response to the sound frequencies generated by the explosion.

Eddie and Cletus were thrown back, hitting a wall, as they were left outside; their symbiotes had retracted back into their bodies.

Meanwhile, Peter stood up from the ground. He was a bit shaken; his body was aching a little. Fucking shit. Peter cursed under his breath, and threw webs at Eddie and Cletus.

He knew that this wasn't enough to keep them at bay, not in the slightest, but it would certainly buy him some time, and that was exactly what he wanted right about now.

So, as the two groaned inside the web and the symbiotes recovered inside their bodies, Peter went ahead and ran up to Yuri. He checked her vitals, and sighed in relief that she was perfectly fine. Then, he untied her body, and checked the spell to see why he wasn't notified of this kidnapping.

Well, apparently, there was a hole in the spell, he'd look into it later. It was expected that there would be holes, he'd just used Ancient One's spell forms, the conditions that'd set the spell off, and many other kinds of stuff was Peter's. There was no doubt going to be holes, he was just annoyed with himself that he hadn't checked this before.

Anyways, Peter opened a portal to the warehouse, and pushed her inside there. He made sure she fell on the bed before casting a dome of protection around the warehouse. He didn't want anyone coming in, if anyone did, he'd be alerted.

Peter had decided, he was going to do some heavy 'renovation' and 'maintenance' of his spells on everyone he'd cast on, and many other things. He didn't want the incident with Yuri happening again now, did he?

Peter wasn't going to let this happen again. He would learn from his mistakes so that he wouldn't repeat them again, not even once.

After he was done sending Yuri inside the warehouse, Peter closed the portal, and turned around to find Carnage already out of his web. More like, Cletus has enveloped in Carnage again, it seemed that the symbiote had already recovered. Venom was doing fine himself, coming out just after.

Venom pounced at Carnage while the latter was coming toward Peter.

Peter wasn't sure why Carnage was doing this, what Cletus had against him. From what Peter knew, he had never met this man. Even if he had, he was sure that he'd have killed Cletus. The man was deranged beyond recovery.

And Peter would kill someone like that than let him roam free. Yeah, he might be a hypocrite, but he won't let that get in the way. Sure, he didn't have the best of public interests in his mind, but he wasn't that heartless. He wouldn't let innocents suffer if he could do something to prevent it.

Anyways, it was time to put a stop to this whole shit.

Lord_Kismet: Hmm, I dunno about this one. I mean, it's fine, but I'm not satisfied. Anyways, this was the first part of the Flashback, the second is in the next chapter. I didn't want to be away from Peter for a whole chapter, so I experimented a bit with this past and present thing. Share your opinions, please. And also, if you can suggest, tell me how I can improve on this end? Like, I've laid many tidbits for the future-as I did for this one back in chapter 4-in the chapters till now, and I will slowly reveal them, but I'm not sure if this is the right way.

Haah.

Help, please.
