A majestic Golden Palace lay A top a mountain peak,It had 4 different distinct segments,one that looked similar to an European style castle,one that looked similar to an Arabic palace,one that looked similar to an Chinese palace,one that looked similar to an Aztec tecpan.

In front of each segment was a Golden Statue with glowing red eyes,in front of the European style segment was the statue of a Golden Knight,in front of the Arabic style segment was the statue of an Arabic warrior,in front of the Chinese segment was the statue of an warlord wearing armor similar to those worn by high level Chinese warriors,and lastly there was a statue of an Aztec warrior.

Each segment was home to one of the 4 rulers of Gleadenia,and currently,a commotion was unfolding in each of them.

VanKcrow was currently dwelling on his thoughts,he was thinking of the events that led to him waking up in the cave.

He was supposed to meet the origin of fated in the tower of trials, instead,he ended up being in the presence of some sort of harrowing being,one whose presence he could still vividly remember.

'we were supposed to meet the origin of the Bloodline of the fated,but what if that was only the case because everyone else has the " Wehrmacht von Salbei" bloodline and were going to meet the origin of their own bloodline specifically...

In that case,I would have met the origin of the Scarecrow bloodline,which would explain why something unexpected happened.

And since I immediately after woke up from the dream,it may be that "being" that caused me to wake up.'

VanKcrow had a lot of questions but no way to find an answer,so instead,he decided to focus on how he would be able to become a fated .

Becoming a changeling was practically out of question since it would depend mainly on luck,the fragments were very rare to find in Akash and when they did it would be at random.

Not even Light Bringers can purposely find one most of the time.

Although there was a chance VanKcrow was now in another continent,but unless he was in Salvation,the situation would be the same and even if he was in Salvation,he would need to permanently give up his freedom and join the Sacred order to become a changeling,which wasn't something he planned on doing.

This meant VanKcrow would have to find and consume the remnant soul of a fated,but that was also extremely difficult.

The only account of someone who managed to do that happened in the year 141 000 of the calendar,the Heavenly Demon Yaksha managed to consume the remnant soul of a powerful Light Bringer called the Heavenly Monarch,Tenno.

This only happened because of a calamity that occurred in the soul realm which led to the souls of countless powerhouses of the entire world being exterminated of conscience and falling down to the physical universe.

The soul realm had entered a period were Fated could leave The Path to Ascension,The part of the soul realm where the soul Mundus are located and explore the rest of the Soul Realm.

This was such an monumental event that the fated of the entire world joined together and launched an expedition to explore the soul Realm,but the expedition ended in failure and countless powerhouses perished,not only that,but when the survivors came back to the Physical World,they brought with them 6 different great catastrophies.

Unnatural phenomenons that still affect the world till this day.

Many people still lament that there was no Honored One or God to lead the expedition,if there was, things might have turned out differently...

Back then,some people were struck by the remnant souls and all perished except for the Heavenly Demon Yaksha,who was then called Slave, Yaksha went on to become extremely powerful and eventually slew his former masters,he was on the path to becoming an Honored one but disappeared along the way...

Outside of that event,there is no known way to find a remnant soul, which meant that VanKcrow's only chance was to either find one of the remnant souls that fell into the world 6 thousand years ago or to somehow recreate an event similar to what happened back then.

The second option was practically impossible...

Achyeldonn somehow had many different remnant souls in his possession,even that of individuals who should have died over 100 000 years ago,in fact, Achyeldonn himself is thought to have perished a long time ago,yet if the dream was to be trusted,he was still alive, and was somewhere around Akash...

VanKcrow had no idea of how to find a remnant soul,but he had already decided where he was going to go.

In this world, normal humans are nothing but cannon fodder, Aertia is a unique city in a sense that Fated there treated normal people with respect and kept them safe, in most other places,The lifes of mundane people were cheap and fated could openly kill them without a care, unless they were the loved ones of a powerful fated which was a rare occurrence...

And even if VanKcrow was still in Aertia,which he doubted due to the visage he could see outside the cave,he still would not have any way to impact matters of the supernatural,he would be essentially forced to live as a mundane person until he perished.

There was only one place he knew of where mundane people could have an effect on the supernatural,and that was the 8 pathways of the mortal and Divine,A place that existed simultaneously in all the continents except for Aegis.

That was because In Aegis,there were no mortals,since it was populated by the Freiherr which are all divine beings.

The 8 pathways was created by Amaanaveey,the Inhuman Emperor, descendant of the Human Emperor.

It is a location of extreme danger,where the lives of both mortals and immortals was cheap,even a Light Bringer could die like a fly.

Yet it is also a place where a mundane human like him could have a chance at potentially carving a path for himself,as long as he was willing to bow down to others and live as a slave.

VanKcrow had always disliked the idea of being controlled by others,but If one doesn't know how to make sacrifices and bow down when needed,they might be heading for an early grave.

VanKcrow was willing to sacrifice others and himself to achieve his goals,he would willingly bow down and do acts others considered humiliating if it was necessary.

And in this situation,he would First need to give up the little freedom he had to eventually become free from all of existence.

To reach the Pinnacle of all beings.

But before any of that,he needed to figure out where he was and how to get to the 8 Pathways...
