Raona Magic Academy - 22

It's official, we're 15. We're actually adults in this world, and yet... I feel like I'm just getting started. We're leaving for school today with Sylphie. The fact that we're on the cusp of a new chapter should make me happy, but there's something else that's always on my mind - my departure to another world. That's the thing that scares me, and yet I can't wait to get on with it. But before that, I'd like to visit the Roxy. And the thought literally chills my bones.

I'm packed, ready, just waiting for Sylphie, who's still saying goodbye to her father. Rudy and I have already said our goodbyes. It was touching, full of tears. I don't really like this. All this goodbye stuff is a little... too much for me. Fortunately, we didn't take a carriage or any other means of transportation, because I decided to teleport us. It'll be quicker and more convenient.

Raona Magic Academy is waiting for us, and I'm curious...

Sylphii comes running in saying she's ready, but her father has called Rudy for a while yet. Thanks to my highly developed senses, I heard what he said, "Rudy, take good care of Sylphie, okay?" A smile appeared on my face. It was that kind of genuine parental love. Honestly, I wonder how I'll react when I have kids of my own. But that's a long way off. After all, I'm still a virgin, not just in this life, but in my past life as well. But... this will definitely change. I'm definitely not stopping now.

As soon as Rudy returned, I asked him if they were really ready. They both nodded, and in the next instant, I engulfed us all in shadow, teleporting us all right outside the gates of Sharia, the capital of magic. Sylphia and Rudy's eyes were widened in amazement. And to Sylphii, she declared with a smile on her lips, "Amazing..." I admit, I wasn't quite sure if she was commenting on my magic or the city itself.

I approached her and asked her to entrust me with her luggage. She agreed, and I tossed it into my shadow, which swallowed it.

We walked through the town to the school, where we split up to find our rooms. Rudy and I got to share a room again because we're used to it. After all these years of sharing a room at home, it wasn't a problem for us. Sylphie didn't want to be alone at first, but eventually accepted it, as she always does.

After unpacking, I told Rudy that I had some errands to run, so he shouldn't wait for me. I walked out of town to a place where I knew no one would see or smell me. Preparation for teleportation was quick. This time I decided to teleport directly into Roxy's shadow. I was engulfed in the shadow's flames, and the next instant I would appear right on the training ground. Roxy was standing in front of a student, explaining some basic spell casting.

I walked up behind her, got close to her ear and whispered, "Boo!"

Roxy jumped, and when she turned around, she screamed with a yelp, "Aaaa!"

I couldn't help but laugh. The little student looked at me and asked, "Who are you?" Before I could answer, Roxy interjected, "He's my former student, Mephistopheles Greyart." The girl just shook her head in understanding, and Roxy turned to me. "What are you doing here? And how did you get here?"

I smiled. "I'll tell you later, I can't explain it to everyone."

Roxy blushed, but nodded. "You'll have to wait until I finish my lesson."

I sat down on the floor and waited while Roxy continued with the lesson. After the lesson, she came over to me, took my hand and encouraged me to follow her. We walked to her room where she indicated for me to sit down. She immediately started talking, "So, how did you get here, and what are you doing here?"

"I came here to marry you..."

I paused for a moment to see her reaction. And it came instantly - Roxy was as red as a tomato. I continued with a smile, "And how did I get here? I teleported here."

Roxy froze, her face expressing utter astonishment. "Y-you teleported here?! That's impossible... that's forgotten magic!"

To prove it, I immediately teleported back and back again. "Do you believe me now?" I asked.

Roxy was silent for a moment, as if analyzing what had happened. Then she spoke, "So... that's the magic you used to send the letters, you can manipulate shadows, right?"

I nodded. And then I got down on one knee, knowing that if I wanted her, this would be the time. I formed a sleek black ring from my mana and said: "Roxy Migurdia, will you marry me?"

Roxy blushed again, but before I could say anything, she just muttered softly: "Mmhm..."

I stood there, completely taken aback, but the next thing I knew she shouted, "Yes! Asshole!"

I jumped up with joy, pulled her to me and kissed her.

The kiss was passionate, and Roxy pulled away for just a moment to catch her breath, then continued as if she didn't even want to stop. She added her tongue and I was in seventh heaven. It was perfect.

Soon we both took off our clothes and threw ourselves on the bed. Everything else melted away, and we got caught up in the moment.

In the morning, when we woke up, it was early. School hadn't started yet today, so we had time to enjoy our time together. Roxy clung to me like a koala and opened her eyes. "Good morning..."

"Morning," I smiled like a madman.

"Roxy, there's something I have to tell you..." I began seriously. Roxy immediately woke up and looked at me curiously.

I started to tell her about everything I'd been through - my supposed death, my rebirth, how I'd gotten my powers, and how I'd fallen in love with her. She had no objections, just listened to me, and finally, when she had processed everything, she replied:

"So you've already died, been reborn here, and gained powers that transcend the gods? You fell in love with me and now you want me to travel the worlds with you and learn more about magic?"

She took it well enough, probably didn't mind my mental, or rather spiritual age. Actually, she's the same age as both my lives, so I guess she didn't think it was a problem. "Exactly," I replied. "And the best part is that I can stop time here, so we won't miss anything."

I could see her confusion, but also her joy. "That's an amazing offer, I didn't expect you to offer me something like that. Even though you were different, like this... it surprised me. I'm happy to travel and learn with you, but I'd like to spend some more time here first. I like you, no - I love you, and I've tried to suppress it before. But I'd like to get married and stuff, so if you say you can stop your time here and go somewhere else, the best option is to leave here for a while and then come back here with me. I can see you need that..."

"Really? So I'm supposed to leave and then come back to spend some time with you here and then we'll go travel together?" I was amazed that she didn't want to come straight with me, I told her I wanted to leave the place for a while now, but I didn't expect to go alone first

"yes, you should go and then come back with me..."

With that I slowly said goodbye to Roxy and went to get ready to leave.
