Unmasking Betrayal

Emily held back her panic and shook her head with tears.

"Uncle! I swear I didn't. I won't incite Davina to hurt Mr. Cosby!"

Philip frowned as he looked at Emily.

Compared to Davina, who always made messes, he trusted Emily more.

He then looked at Davina in confusion, wondering why she had changed so much.

Hadn't she been the closest and obedient to Emily in the past?

Davina had already prepared for her father's disbelief. "Dad, Emily gave me the ideas through text messages. Just look at her phone."

After pushing Leonardo, her phone broke, but Emily's phone was working. 

When Emily heard Davina, she immediately calmed down.

Emily thought, "What an idiot! I would delete the message I sent to her..."

"Uncle," Emily took out her phone obediently, "The chat history is here. Please have a look."

Philip looked at the series of conversations inside. They were all about Clarence, which made him very angry.

Not finding the evidence.

Davina had mentioned Philip was upset.

"Davina, you've disappointed me too much!

You even framed others and got rid of your responsibilities!"

Davina silently went upstairs.

Everyone thought she ran away after being exposed. 

However, soon after, Davina walked down with her laptop.

Davina said nothing but placed her laptop on her lap. Her fingers quickly flipped through the keyboard.

Then, she reached out to Emily,

"Your phone."

Emily was intrigued and laughed contemptuously in her heart.

A country bumpkin like Davina could do that?

Emily despised Davina, so she simply handed Davina her phone.

Davina smiled coldly as she connected the phone to her laptop.

In the next second, her fingers tapped quickly again.

Emily's smile froze. Her arrogance disappeared.

Gosh! How could Davina break such a professional code?

Emily panicked and quickly pressed Davina's hand.

"What's wrong? Are you nervous?" Davina asked coldly without raising his head.

Emily looked at Davina's cold eyes in shock. She felt fear from her. 

How could she be scared by Davina, a good-for-nothing?!

"Davina, can you stop fooling us around?"

Emily swallowed nervously, "Uncle's health is poor.

Apologize to him and let this incident pass."

Davina gazed at her emotionlessly. "Emily, why did you stop me if you are innocent?"

"Davina!" Emily suppressed her anger and pretended to be surprised. "How can you say that? I did it for your good."

Damn it! What was going on with Davina today?

Davina had always been obedient to her before, but now she has changed completely!

Davina's cold gaze frightened her. She could only hold back her panic and seek Philip's defense.

Davina snorted, pushed her hand away, and continued typing rapidly.

"Uncle!" Emily panicked and went to Philip.

However, Philip pushed her away agitatedly and stared at Davina.

Same as Derrick, both of them were very excited.

They had never thought Davina could write a program code.

As time went by, the conversation reappeared on the computer screen.

Emily took a few steps back in disbelief and panicked.

Davina pressed the last key and looked at Emily. "Alright.

The evidence is here. What else do you want to say?"

Philip and Derrick rushed over and carefully checked the chat history.

When they saw the messages of how Emily allured Davina, both of them went angry.

Initially, they thought Emily was good, but they did not expect her to be a cunning fox!

She had been plotting everything behind Davina's back, instructing Davina to go against everyone!

Philip felt disappointed he believed he had treated. Emily is just like his own daughter.

Why would she do that?

The evidence was here. Emily had no way to cheat. She could only force out a few tears and kneeled on the ground.

"Uncle…. I'm sorry. It's all my fault!"

"I just heard Davina didn't want to be engaged to Leonardo, so I came up with this stupid idea.

Davina is my sister. I want her to be happy!"

"Is that so?" Davina said, "Do you think causing a rift among us is for my good?"

She turned to look at Philip and said word by word, "Dad, do you know what Emily has done before? She knew you didn't like Clarence and mentioned him to me every day, causing my interest."

"She even provoked my relationship with you and Derrick. She said both of you didn't allow me to be with Clarence. She claimed you're not a good father, and Derrick is not a good brother!"

Recalling the memories of her past, Davina's every word was filled with tears.

She quickly typed on the keyboard again. Soon, another large amount of chat history appeared.

They were all about Emily saying how good Clarence was and how suitable he was to be Davina's boyfriend.

Every time Davina wanted to change the topic, Emily would ask Davina to have fun outside.

Then, she would deliberately create an encounter between Davina and Clarence.

In addition, there were many messages defaming Philip and Derrick.

Every time Davina finished arguing with Philip and Derrick because of Clarence, Emily would tell Davana sarcastically that they did not love her and wanted Davina to stay away from them.

In the past, it was because she believed in Emily's nonsense and her relationship with her father and brother became worse.

After watching the chat history, Philip was extremely angry.

He had never expected to raise an ungrateful girl!

She even wanted to ruin his family!

Emily knew she had reached the limit of Philip. She knelt crying, "Uncle... I was wrong. Please don't send me away..."

"I lost my parents when I was a child. I lack security. I admit I was jealous of Davina, but I was just too afraid of losing you all. Can you please don't send me away?"

After all, Emily was the only child of Philip's brother. Philip flattered.

Derrick said, "Dad, I have an apartment by the river. Let Emily be there. We treat her too well, but she takes revenge on us. It's time for her to practice her character."

Philip sighed, "Alright."

As soon as Davina was reborn, the first victory was chasing Emily out of her home.

Davina's heart was filled with joy.

She secretly gave her brother a thumbs-up and blinked her eyes.

Derrick smiled dotingly and sighed in his heart.

He hadn't seen such a lively and clever little girl for a long time.

He had long seen through Emily's evil intentions. He could only tell that Davina's change had something to do with Emily.

However, Davina was too stubborn to change.

Fortunately, Davina found her way and discovered Emily's true colors.

"Emily, pack up your things and move there today," Derrick said.

"Maria!" Davina immediately called the nanny over, "Quickly throw Emily's stuff out. Don't let her belongings block our way!"

"Davina!" Philip looked at her speechlessly.

Davina put her tongue out teasingly. When she turned to look at Emily, her expression became disdainful. "Why are you still standing here?"

Emily gritted her teeth in hatred, but she still pretended to be at a disadvantage.

D*mn it! No matter what mistakes Davina made, Philip and Derrick would unconditionally tolerate her!

Emily clenched her fists in anger. When she saw the servants were looking at her with strange eyes, she felt lashed out. She covered her face and ran out crying.

Philip sighed. Thinking that she was the only child of his elder brother, he couldn't be cold-hearted, so he sent someone to follow her.

Davina took a deep breath, walked up to Philip, and knelt down.

Philip was startled. "What are you doing?"

"Dad," Davina looked at him seriously, "I'm sorry for my previous dumbness."

She continued, "As for the Cosby family, I'll explain to them. I won't reject the marriage with Leonardo."

Philip was shocked. He almost thought he heard it wrong.

He didn't expect Davina to become so mature.

His eyes were reddened.

He gently patted Davina's shoulder and helped her up.

"Good girl."

Davina looked at her father with white hair on his temples.

Suddenly, her eyes also reddened.

"Dad, Derrick," Davina said in her heart, "In this life, I will protect both of you. I will never let the tragedy repeat!"
