Synopsis

In a universe not unlike our own, the turn of the millennium brought with it the sudden appearance of super-powered humans. As time passed, nearly all of humanity had some form of Talent, in what came to be known as the Heroic Era.

And where there were heroes, there were villains.

Amongst the most feared villains (but really she identifies as an anti-villain), one stood above all. Not for her Talents, for she had none, but for her science.

Khalida Zaquot, AKA The Engineer.

Her mastery of super-science kept her leagues above the villains and heroes of Knight City... until the day she died, slain by the ultimate protectors of the status quo, Crusader and Destiny.

But death was not the end for The Engineer.

Reborn as the daughter of the duo that killed her, Khalida, now named Aislin, has to navigate life as the daughter of the world's mightiest if she's to get her revenge, restore her bad name, and finally conquer the world.

And with her new powers, she might just be able to... If she can survive her overprotective (and overly powerful) twin sister, celebrity status, new parents, hormones, and hero school.

One of the rare few books on this platform I've given five stars, and it's just for the first 8 chapters! It has no direct influence by the fact I cameo in this novel as a duck person. Not. At. All. The novel is really well-written and I love the exposition and internal monologue the main character has. it really fits with the villainess theme. The characters are fleshed out, the author isn't afraid to put on their apron and get into the gore, and it's just a fantastic read. Leagues above most novels on this platform. 5/5 Stars!

It's quite a well-written story with 1st person POV, it brought me straight to the MC's head. I wonder if Ashlin will grow affection towards her new parents except for the urge to get revenge. Keep up the great work author \(*u*)/

ouuu I don't read a lot of action stories but this one is so cool. I feel so bad for The Enginner but she get's a do over as Ashlin. So far so good, I think there's so much about this super human society, the firms, and incorporations etc. I'd like to know what made the Engineer like this. Ill still around to find out. The author is really funny and I dig the writing style. I sorta kinda feel bad for Destiny, I want more for her tbh

Its' an excellent read!!!!Re-Villainess masterfully blends the grandeur of the heroic era with cutting-edge science and dark supernatural forces. Story follows a fierce female lead who is betrayed and killed—only to return as trouble in home of her killer. Pacing is impeccable—never rushed, never dragging—satisfying. I loved the narration from the first page, making it impossible to put the book down. The novel is packed with thrilling action, intrigue, and a deep exploration of world. The fusion of science and magic adds a unique twist, making the world feel both fantastical and eerily realistic. All the best!!! Happy Writing, Author!
