After some minutes of waiting, Ann arrived knocking at the door. Upon sighting her friend exuding a peaceful aura from head to toe behind her desk, she was dumbfounded by her beauty.

Baby, You know you'll never cease to amaze me; even after not seeing you for days, you still look as stunning as ever.

If I didn't know what you were passing through right now, I really would not believe there's a mountain on fire.

You didn't let all these things reach you?

Well, I think it's nice like this; you can easily win anybody's heart. She made an exaggeration of touching her heart while winking at Jayden.

Jayden had this joyous smile on her face. You know you're not bad yourself; you look so beautiful that I felt like I made a good decision by not coming to the company. It seems work is your skincare. Jayden said and smiled.

Don't you dare say that it was a hectic time during your absence, and you're not allowed to leave anytime soon, at least till it's time for your " freedom". Ann replied mischievously.

What are you talking about? You do know my old man must not hear you, or else you're ready to face a label of judges explaining what you mean by "freedom". Jayden said.

Haaa, I'm so scared. How can you say such a thing? Do you want your friend to visit the great Mr Cole's court? Ann said with an exaggerated look.

Hmm, mph. Nah, you know. Enough of your antics; let's get down to work. There are a lot of things we need to attend to. Said Jayden.

That's true. You told me there'll be a meeting over the phone; can I see the agenda of the meeting so I can add whatever it is I should? Ann enquired.

Jayden picked up her tablet, containing the agenda and key points she wanted to address, and silently handed it over to Ann without saying a word.

Having accepted it and glanced through it, Ann picked up her phone and sent Jayden a message asking if the coast is clear and if she's free to talk.

Yes, you're free to talk. I made sure to bring an anti-device that could block the listening device placed here. You know I could not directly remove it, or else my old man will suspect something, but with this we can talk as much as we can. Jayden replied without having typed it back.

Ohh, that's better. I couldn't imagine someone else listening in on our conversation. I feel cringe even thinking about it. Ann said.

Well, it is what it is; everything will soon come to an end; it's a matter of time. Jayden stated.

It will, surely. So what's the plan progress? Have you found a location already and your substitute, and also the artist that'll disguise you guys?

I handed that over to Tracy; she got the substitute already. We're only in need of a very remote location, and I think I take care of the artist already.

You take care of the artist? How do you manage to do that without your father suspecting anything?

That's easy. Just find someone I know that's capable of handling it.

Someone you know? You know someone I didn't know? Ann asked.

Hmm, it's nothing, just someone I know; he'll perfectly get the job done.

Ann, you're being too inquisitive, must you always ask every details, let's just focus on how to secure a remote location, you know how my father Dan be and I haven't since or heard from Tracy since last time. Don't know if there's any progress on her side. Jayden said her tone a degree higher and full of authority.

If you say so, you know I don't mean to get you angry, I'm just looking out for you. Moreover I've always know every bit of what's happening around you. Ann replied.

Then there's no need for you to know this, I'm not a child don't treat me like one! Jayden said.

Alright. Don't be annoyed, let's just discuss the meeting agenda and call for the various departments head with that Tracy would have arrived before we're done and we can resolve this, Okay.

Picking up the tablet Jayden hand over the other time, Ann makes a brief suggestion and amendment to the agenda and the key point they'll be discussing at the meeting.

She hand it over back to Jayden for the last review.

Having confirmed all there's to check, Jayden caked one of her secretary compass across the message that there will be a meeting in the next fifteen minutes and every concerned person must be there.

After 10 minutes he pass, Nova knocked gently before entering " Everyone is ready whenever you are" Nova said in a calm but curious tone as it being a while since Jayden had made a physical appearance at the office and now that she's here, She summoned a general meeting on such a short notice, which is an unusual move for her.

Now every department head is panicking on what it might be.

Jayden gestured to Ann to get ready so they can be on the move, she rise from behind her desk we the the grace and aura of wontons who command authority and attract attention without having to lift a hand, no effort required for her to be herself.

She picked her tablet which contains the amended agenda and the key point they'll be discussing at the meeting. She exit the office door with Ann following in toll, they're ready to make a significance change in the company.

If at all anything, it'll guarantee the successful running of the company even in Jayden's absence; moreover, it'll help keep the employees minds at rest so they can work hand in hand against external attacks, just like the saying" United we stand, divided we fall."
