Hearing Wu Tian's explanation, Medusa immediately sat up. Gone was her previous laziness her expression turned serious.

"You're right. The serpent race's records do state that we can evolve using Heavenly Flames. However, there has never been a successful case recorded. And Heavenly Flames are incredibly rare on the Dou Qi Continent how do we even begin to find one?"

Wu Tian smirked arrogantly.

"Of course, the records don't have any successful cases. I was the one who left those records, after all. None of the previous queens managed to find a Heavenly Flame, so of course, they couldn't evolve. After all, they never awakened me!"

The moment Medusa heard that the records had been written by Wu Tian, and that only by awakening him could evolution be possible, she became visibly excited.

She leaped forward, closing the distance between them until her mesmerizing face was just ten centimeters away from his.

"Guardian Spirit Lord, if I'm not mistaken, you're saying that you can find a Heavenly Flame?"

Wu Tian swallowed his greedy saliva and continued his streak of half truths.

The mighty Queen of the Serpent Race, a Peak Dou Huang, was now playing with him like a child?!

Yet, at this moment, she wasn't the cold, domineering Medusa.

Instead, she looked like a playful young girl, full of curiosity and mischief.

She was… adorable.

Medusa's large, curious eyes locked onto his.

Then, without hesitation

She dove straight into his semi transparent body.

Her amethyst eyes shut gently as she settled inside, looking completely ready for Wu Tian to do whatever he pleased.

Wu Tian was dumbfounded.

If there were a mirror, he would see that his face was now perfectly overlapped with Medusa's.

Wu Tian's mouth twitched.

"Medusa… what are you doing?"

Medusa didn't even open her eyes.

Still wearing that "I'm all yours" expression, her delicate lips moved as she spoke:

"Guardian Spirit Lord, you said that without you, there is no Heavenly Flame. And now you're saying the flame is 'far yet near'… So doesn't that mean… you are the Heavenly Flame itself?"

Wu Tian's expression stiffened.

Damn!

So this is how Wukong must have felt when he finally understood the truth!

His big talk had backfired now she had misunderstood everything!

What should he do?!

Medusa giggled mischievously.

"Guardian Spirit Lord, aren't I smart?"

"My very own Heavenly Flame Guardian Spirit… hurry up~!"

She urged him eagerly, eyes still shut in anticipation.

"Don't hold back, unleash your flames upon me! Refine me, evolve me! And if I scream from the pain, don't go easy on me~!"

Wu Tian: "…"

At that moment, Wu Tian experienced peak awkwardness.

A breathtakingly seductive woman was practically begging him to do something…

And yet…

He couldn't do a damn thing!

This feeling of powerlessness was unbearable!

Wu Tian wanted to cry.

His heart softened.

So, he spoke again.

"I may not remember the exact location of the Heavenly Flame…"

"But I do know someone who does. He has information that can help us find it much faster!"
