As Medusa's massive body coiled in the air, Wu Tian fully experienced the essence of a chase scene. Once inside Medusa, Wu Tian no longer felt his body shrinking, but his heart ached seeing her scales flaking off. Though he knew this was part of her evolution, it felt like cutting him deeply his wife was suffering! He desperately wanted to help, but intervening might jeopardize her evolution.
As scales fell and blood flowed, instantly cauterized by the intense heat of the Heavenly Flame, Medusa's colossal body visibly shrank. Despite her screams of agony, Wu Tian was prepared to act, even as the Ice Cold Spring pool he had prepared completely evaporated, and the surrounding bamboo turned to ash.
