Fallout, Second Life

It's a good read.Its great to find a fallout fic that isn't ruined by a system or just a mash up of other fic thrown together, just a random guy trying to figure out his place in a apocalyptic world..

I’m really enjoying the story so far — I have no complaints. The pacing is just right; it’s neither too fast nor too slow. I also appreciate that the main character isn’t overpowered or boosted by some system that makes them instantly strong. Instead, the MC has to actually farm and loot to progress, earning stable prices for their efforts without becoming outrageously rich. It feels balanced and realistic, and I really like that.

Went out of my way to create an account and write this up but this story is great! There's no system, no cheats, no magic just pure fallout. Its so sad its not more popular. This story deserves more love! The MC was born in this world but pre-war so he is familiar with the universe but doesn't have any knowledge of what has happened since the bombs fell. Just a guy trying to survive. The story is given a ton of time to breathe and let characters grow and the story to unfold. The detail is pretty high and I'm finding myself becoming attached to Adam. hes not perfect which is half his charm. He is just struggling to survive and learn in this new reality he awoke in! If you are looking for a pure fallout fan-fiction, written by an author that clearly loves and knows the subject material then this is the story for you! Give it a shot!

So, i'm not the best at doing reviews, and I ain't particularly fond of doing reviews unless I think they're worth doing. But to be blunt. The story so far is amazing. We have an MC who rightfully has no real idea what he's doing in the apocalypse. Who's basically just an average joe trying to get by. The world development is great too, 49 chapters in and he's still in the "starting village" so to speak, but hes got plans of where to go, what to do, background on his next destination, all things that really add some flesh to the story. The writing quality is really good as well. I've noticed no major spelling or grammatical errors, but I don't even think i've noticed minor errors now that I think about it. Overall, gotta say i'm loving the story. The only reason I did a review is because the story isn't as popular as it should be, and that doesn't sit well with me 😅 So if you're reading this, wondering whether you should bother with this fanfic, I'd say go for it. It's slow paced, fleshed out, plenty of character development too, overall a good read.
