Three days later, during the afternoon when the sun was at its peak and the city was at its busiest, the queen of the kingdom and the only wife of King Edward, Queen Charlotte, recommended that the kids, especially Kaidën, go for a tour of the capital, as it wasn't every day that one could come to the capital.
The king immediately agreed to the idea in order to continue the plan for Lord Alric's downfall without having to worry too much about the kids. There was a large smile on his face as a major burden had been lifted.
"Okay, Your Highness, I will immediately prepare the kids," Queen Charlotte said. "I'm sure they would be really excited to finally leave the walls of the castle."
As she turned to take her leave, Sofia spoke up, her face filled with curiosity. "Edward, why are you so happy compared to the kids? It seems like you are the one actually being taken for a tour compared to the kids."
