73. Horrible summer

After the Rimejülin, everyone returned to their own territory for the summer peace period, and the head of the Koál tribe thought about how he could persuade his newly appeared particularly talented relative, if not to allow him to patronize him, atHoldvárto open up a little towards him. Since he lost his brother, he was the only Koál from the main bloodline, so even a relative appearing from a side branch caused him great surprise and joy. It was just an addition to the matter that the tribe founder also said that he was an exceptional talent.

Finally, an idea occurred to him. The time for the annual grand chief meeting was fast approaching. Most tribal chiefs bring their successors with them to the council. In his case, on the other hand, although his son was at a good age to come with him, was not exactly enthusiastic about it. Why not take that Rahul boy with him? As soon as this idea crossed his mind, he decided to act. So that is how he was already in Hegyfok not long after that. In the center of the Bolacsuk tribe, to visit the boy in person and ask the Bolacsuk chieftain to let him take take the boy to the council.

The latter was not a difficult matter, although they were not the best of friends with the Bolacsuk chieftain, but they were childhood rivals and both of them happily recalled the Heginjülins on which they fought against each other to find out which of them was more skillful. The more difficult thing was convincing Rahul himself. The boy, like at Rimejülin, did not show much interest in his offer.

"I'm sorry, but this political stuff is not my world." The boy folded his arms in front of him and although Koál Kilian would have preferred to shout in anger, he still managed to hold back his anger and remind himself that Rahul is still a child, even if he has grown up.

"Razvan will be there too." The Volacsuk boy standing next to Rahul whispered to him, but upon hearing this statement, not only Kilian, but also the boy looked at him strangely.

"And why do I care about that?" Rahul cut back to his friend, and he rolled his eyes.

"He will also be there and if I remember correctly, he said that you have to get a lesson soon." Mumbled the Bolacsuk boy, which caused Rahul's eyes to widen and his attitude to change completely.

Kilian was surprised to find that the boy was interested in everything, although he showed it quite strangely, but he was interested in everything. So he tried to make their trip more colorful with small and big things to Holdvár, where the great council of the chieftains was held. The council itself began as it always does. Kilian had told Rahul in advance that he would have nothing to do but be there and watch, and the boy accordingly did not flinch when the guest of the meeting entered.

In view of the particularly worrying situation caused by the emergence of a certain groop called Athamana, the tribal chiefs decided it would be best to ask for advice from the old chán, whose wisdom they have been relying on in difficult matters since the dawn of time. The chán man, however, didn't look the least bit worried, rather grumpy, as if he'd rather be anywhere than there.

"Our warehouses suffered a lot of losses this year. This Athamana can still be a threat. We called you here to ask if you know anything about them, Master?" Said the head of the Motumisz tribe, then everyone curiously turned to the chán.

"Of course I know. I gave them their equipment." The man shrugged his shoulders, but with his statement he managed to make everyone look at him with open mouths.

"Then you also know where they are? We know you are an impartial master, but we have to protect the people from them." The head of the Bokló tribe said.

"I have no idea. I have a guess where they might be, but I don't know anything about where exactly they are." The man announced. "Sometimes they come and visit me, that's all."

"Why are you helping them?" Kilian asked.

"I don't do anything, I just give them my inventions. Because they ask for them instead of trying to steal them." He looked grumpily at the chieftains.

Unfortunately, he was right, the tribes usually tried to rob him. However, this did not get them on the man's best side. Not so much that after that Mr. Chá was not even willing to speak. In light of this, the meeting ended in failure. Frustrated, Kilian accompanied Rahul back to Bolacsuk tribe, then returned home to organize this year's Heginjülin.

However, this Heginjülin had unexpected surprises. Because on the day when the games started, Master Chá appeared, and behind him was a team of eight people dressed in black from head to toes, whose lines no one could make out. They were the Athamana. This mysterious team appeared openly in front of everyone and even had the nerve to enter the games. That is, except for two.

"Master, foreigners cannot enter the Heginjülin competition. They must be patronized by at least one tribe." Kilian said to the chán man and stepped forward with a worried face. But the man only pulled his lips into a faint smile.

"But they are members of your tribes, my child." The man's statement hit Kilian and the chieftains around him as if someone had poured a bucket of ice water down their necks. The mysterious group that made their lives miserable emerged from among their own people. A rebellion that could not be stopped there and at that moment due to the laws of Heginjülin. Heginjülin was a symbol of peace. Killing was forbidden, according to the legend, Athira himself put the curse on the meeting, which threatens anyone who violates the peace with starvation and the immediate death of the murderers.

"Why don't those two take part in the competition?" The Zovárs chief, who was the quickest to calm down, asked the most important question now that they could not do anything against the team. Even if everyone knew that this particular man would have killed all the Athamana immediately if possible without thinking, now he was probably thinking about how he should do it after the ceremony.

"They have already proven themselves to me. Unlike the rest./ This was the last thing Master Chá said to the tribal chiefs before he turned and left with the two Athamana members.

Much to the dismay and annoyance of the tribes, the members of the Athamana were very high in every competition, so much so that they took the first six places. However, on the last day of Heginjülin, at the results announcement, they did not appear and no one knew where they had gone. The plans of the tribal chiefs were in ruin. The Athamanas knew exactly that as soon as the joint meditation was over, they could have attacked them.

The Athamanas rubbed under their noses that they were one of them, that they knew their customs and how strong they were. And the hegins could do nothing but watch this parade, in the middle of which stood the unapproachable Master Chá. After that, everyone had to think about how they wanted to continue the year and the defense against the Athamana. Such an organized rebellion has not been seen in Karrabata for a long time.
