Capsule Corps (1)

Yamcha, in that moment felt a sudden unease come over him. Total strangers know about me, yet they don't know me. I failed my own son, and even blamed Bulma for lying. Up until the moment I saw Bosa in her arms. I must recenter myself and then make amends.

In West City, Capsule Corps. The Son family, working as live in security guards, had welcomed into the world a pair of twins. A boy named Gohan, and a girl named Ushichi. With the addition of these two tailed children, there were now three kids living at Capsule Corps. Launch, who was expecting one of her own within the week, couldn't wait once Chichi's twins arrived.

Someone else with a similar degree of interest in the children was actually Bulma. "Chichi, how are you feeling? Is there anything you need?"

"No, I'm fine Bulma. Thank you for asking."

Bosa was sleeping soundly next to Chichi. "Looks like the little guy is worried about you Chichi."

"Pfft, I'm sure whatever his ability to smell certain hormones has led him to be more comfortable around me. Bulma, there was a time when you asked Goku and I to be Bosa's godparents… Would… Would you be willing to be Gohan and Uchichi's godmother?"

"Chichi, you'd ask me that… Even though you know I had ulterior motives?"

"Of course I would. Bosa will be a good big brother, don't you think?"

"Hey now, don't forget about me here, alright? I've got a kid coming any day now too."

Bosa yawned, and stretched gently, opening his eyes. "Oh, good morning mommy, mama Chichi, and aunty Launch." He looked at Chichi with a seemingly curious look, and then gave her a good morning kiss on her cheek. "Mama Chichi, how are you feeling? Mommy told me that you were hurting earlier. Do you feel better now?"

Chich, unable to contain herself from the cuteness of Bosa's actions, hugged him tight. "I'm feeling much better now. You're just too cute and it makes the pain go away."

"Heh heh, mama Chichi. Where are your babies? I only saw you when I crawled into your bed last night."

"They're over there in that crib. Do you want to say hi? They should be waking up again soon here."

And so, this was the first time Bosa met Gohan and Ushichi. "Oh they're so cute and tiny. But…" Bosa looked at his back and patted his tailbone. "I don't remember having a tail. Why do they have one?"

"That's because Goku had one when he was a kid. Though his is gone now, it's likely that his kids would gain these traits."

"Oh, that makes sense mommy."

Ushichi's eyes opened first, and saw Bosa looking at her, she smiled and let out a baby giggle.

"That was adorable! Those two are definitely going to get along."

And then came in the martial artists. "Papa Goku! Ushichi giggled at me!" He flew into Goku's arms.

Goku peeked in and smiled at the two kids. "Oh really? That's amazing. Hey there, I'm Goku, and I'm your daddy. Nice to meet you."

Gohan and Ushichi giggled, with smiles, and awkward movements. "Looks like it's time for food." Chichi took off her shirt, while Bulma and Launch gave her two babies to her. "You know Bulma, I think getting alternate sources of nutrients might be ideal. These two have an appetite that could compete with Goku's."

Bulma giggled at the thought, and had one of the employee's begin sourcing such things. "Don't worry about a thing, Chichi. I've already got someone on the case. You're a good friend, and like a second mother to Bosa, of course I'll help you out."

Tien, not realizing that it was the babies' meal time, recoiled and turned around. "Sorry about that Chichi, I didn't realize what time it was."

"Not like you're going to try anything anyway, Tien. Besides, you're going to need to get used to such a sight. Launch is going to be in the same boat I'm in, and very soon at that. This living area is where we're going to be most of the time."

"That's right, Tien. And I'm not wearing that stuffing privacy blanket at home ya hear? Thing's super uncomfortable and breaks the experience. At least, that's what Bulma said, and I believe her."

Tien recoiled, and reluctantly turned back around. "Anyway, I had a thought. Do you think a senzu bean would help you recover more quickly?" He clearly had a couple of ulterior motives from this.

"You know what, Tien. Go grab a few. Cause you're going to need one once I'm through with you-- Uh oh… Oh… Oh wow… Chichi, is this what it was like?"

"Wow, that was fast. Hey Tien, you should probably take her to the-"

Bulma notified the standby crew she had prepared just in case this happened. "Nope, there's no time for that. That Baby's going to be delivered right here at Capsule Corps."

The emergency crew, with a licensed doctor and midwife, began their work at once with extreme proficiency. It was a perfect demonstration of professionalism, and excellence. It was a great job to have, after all, it paid incredibly well, boosted morale, and ensured rapid diagnosis of any injuries on staff.

"That crew you had on standby, they really know their stuff."

"Yeah, I had created them while I was pregnant with Bosa. I didn't want to be in the middle of work alone, and not have a way to safely deliver my precious baby boy. With this I was able to press a button and everything was taken care of. Though, it didn't change how much it hurt to push him out. The poor guy that held my hand during that time… I kinda broke his hand."

"Ouch, well, if I had to choose which pain I'd rather have… A broken hand seems far less painful."

The pair of women, knowing the same plight Launch found herself in now, giggled to each other. While a clueless Goku stood there with his head tilted to the side. And Bosa sensed Krillin returning.

"Uncle Krillin is back!"

And of course, Krillin came in knowing what was going on based on the screams of pain, so he opted to control his sight. Master Roshi stayed outside for obvious reasons, and Ox King followed into the room eager to see his grandkids. Though, everyone did notice that there was one person, distinctly lacking from the returning group… Bosa was understandably disappointed.
