Sarutobi Ryo's eyes shone with excitement; he knew choosing to sign the contract had been the right decision.

Having such a powerful Summoning Beast meant he could handle many of the smaller problems in a fight. This would allow him to really focus on the bigger issues.

As for Katsuyu misunderstanding the situation, he could clear that up later, after they rescued Hatake Sakumo.

"Wind Release!"

Sarutobi Ryo spoke softly but firmly, his hands moving quickly to form the necessary seals.

Seeing this, Sarui knew he couldn't keep attacking Katsuyu; he had to shift his attention.

"Great Wind Breakthrough!"

A strong gust of wind roared forward, like a typhoon tearing through everything.

Instantly, the area was filled with swirling frost and snow, making it hard to see.

Sarui didn't hesitate. He slammed his hands onto the ground, and a wall of earth rose up to block the wind.

Using two types of Chakra showed he deserved to be a Jonin.
