In the ancient realm of Phaloria, there once existed a goddess named Athna, a being of unfathomable power and unrelenting wrath. She swept across the land like a tempest, leaving naught but ruin in her wake. Cities crumbled, forests withered, and rivers ran dry as she unleashed her chaos upon the world, sparing nothing and no one. The mortals, desperate and broken, cried out to the heavens, their prayers echoing through the void.
Moved by their pleas, the gods convened and decreed that Athna's reign of terror must end. With their combined might, they sealed her away in the dimensional void, a prison beyond time and space. To ensure her eternal confinement, they forged five sacred keys, each imbued with divine power, and entrusted them to the kings of the five great kingdoms: Lorathis, Vyrinthia, Frostara, Zephyros, and Emberath. These rulers swore solemn oaths to guard the keys, for they understood the calamity that would befall the world should Athna ever break free.
For centuries, the keys remained hidden, their locations known only to the kings and their most trusted advisors. But as the ages turned, the memory of Athna faded into legend, and the vigilance of mortals waned. It was in this time of complacency that a foolish human, driven by greed or curiosity—or perhaps both—stole into the vaults of the five kingdoms and claimed the keys for himself. Ignorant of the consequences, he unlocked the seal to the dimensional void, unleashing a rift that tore through the fabric of reality.
Now, the rift grows wider with each passing day, its dark tendrils reaching hungrily into the world of Phaloria. The air grows heavy with dread, and the skies darken as if mourning the inevitable. The mortals, once again faced with the specter of annihilation, count the days with trembling hearts. For they know that in one month's time, the seal will shatter completely, and Athna, the goddess of chaos, will return to claim what remains of their shattered world.
