Prologue: To The End Of Our Story

ROAR 

"Tch seems like it's getting into its mood now. Don't you think that monster just reminds you of some fictional character?" 

Wipes the sweat off his face. 

"Well, I guess so. I'm not a fan of fictional characters. Unlike you." 

Aikari laughed, and he then got into his stance. "You better prepare yourself." Hikari smiled, and he then looked at the monster, and the energy within his body merged into a single sword.  

The monster looked at them, and the monster's eyes and all of the eyes on its body began to brighten red. Both Hikari and Aikari then get ready to fight with it.  

They both get into a separate way, and they then avoid the monster attack and jump into the monster's arm and walk into his face and go to attack it.  

Aikari then jumps and goes to attack it, but that's when the face on the monster's left arm moves and opens its mouth. It's trying to devour Aikari. But Hikari then uses his ability and flies to Aikari and throws him right to the monster's face.  

Aikari successfully lands an attack on the monster's face. He hangs on the monster's face, and the monster then says to him. 

"YOU MORTALS, I WON'T DIE JUST WITH THAT KIND OF ATTACKS FROM A BEING LIKE YOU. NOW DIE BEFORE MY FACE. BEFORE THIS WORLD EVEN FELL APART ALONG WITH ALL OF YOUR MEMORIES." 

The monster then moves his hand to grab Aikari from its face. However, the moment the monsters are moving to do as he wants, Hikari then uses his ability. 

"I won't let you!" 

"Coral Crystal!" 

Suddenly the water begins to coat around the monster body.  

"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" 

Hikari smirks, and he then says to the monster as he is trying to use his other ability. 

"Unlike what you said. I'm Immortalis. I'm unlike any of you. Same goes for him. We are the person who we are! So you don't dare you trying to erase all of those memories from any of us. Let those memories remain eternally!" 

The monster begins to get heavy to move and then something else on his legs. The monster tries to look down to look at what happened down there. But Aikari then stabs his right eye and gets off the monster.  

The monster then gets backed down, and it begins to regenerate itself. Hikari uses his ability and tries to slow down the monster. 

He then told Aikari to continue his attack so it could slow down the monster's regenerative ability.  

Aikari got it, and he then rushed towards the monster to attack it. 

"Take this!" 

Before his sword reached the monster, suddenly the monster wing blew everything up, and he also got blown by it. 

He falls to the ground and tries to stand up again. He got a little hurt by it, but he still stood up. Suddenly he saw green trails around his body, and slowly the wounds on his body began to heal. 

Aikari was so shocked by it. He then looked at Hikari. And Hikari turns to him and says,. 

"He's not the only creature in this world that was able to do that. Now that you have gotten better. Go ahead and defeat that monster. Show him what kind of bonds we have made and what kind of memories we have done together, Aikari!" 

Aikari rushed towards the monster with a smile and tried to strike the monster again. Again, the monster tries to blow him again using his wing. But Hikari stopped the movement of its wing.  

The monster quickly tries to break free from Hikari's magic. The minister then tried to break free and was able to move his right arm. He then tried to punch Aikari. Aikari was able to see it, and he dodged the attacks. He jumped back, and the monster's hand got stuck into the ground. 

The monster tries to pull his arm back, but Hikari applies the effects to its arm, which makes an opening for Aikari to blow a strike. Aikari then runs up to its arm and goes to blow his attack on the monster's face. 

It was a three-slice attack, and it caused the monster to fully lose sight of him. Aikari then continues his attacks and finally gets into his stance to give another heavy strike. 

But when he is trying to, a red aura begins to cover the monster's body, thus coating himself in the red aura. The monster then looked at both Hikari and Aikari and then said. 

"YOU TWO WON'T DEFEAT ME THAT EASY. I'M A CREATURE THAT CLOSE TO BECOMING THIS PLACE'S GOD. NOTHING CAN BEAT ME. NOT EVEN THE TWO OF YOU. I WILL ERASE EVERYTHING IN HERE AND MAKE IT ALL BELONG TO ME, AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION IN THIS!" 

The monster roared again. The roar gives a strong wave there, and even the ground begins to tear apart.  

Hikari uses his ability and creates a strong shield around himself and Aikari, and he then says,. 

"You're just selfish! None of this world. Your world or ours belongs to you. This world is the world that has been created for us. The things that you called mortals to live in. To create our own life, our own story. So by the memories that we have made so far, we won't ever lose to you!" 

Aikari agrees with it and nods. He also adds, 

"That's true! Way too true. We won't ever give up fighting for the place that belongs to us. Even if you declare that it was yours. You can try to manipulate all of the creatures in this world, devouring their memories and replacing them with the mind of yours. But all of these feelings, acts, bonds, and even our life. It all belongs to us. And we will protect those memories to live on forever. In the heart of someone that is important to us!" 

The monster begins to roar even louder, and he finally stops. The monster's left and right arms then begin to glow red, and its wings also begin to absorb the energy around the place.  

But using Aikari's sword ability, it somehow interferes with the process, and it all goes to that sword. Causes that sword to glow in bright white. Aikari was so shocked by it. But not for Hikari. 

Hikari looked at it with a smile, and he then said to Aikari. 

"Show him. The kind of love that the people in this world give to this world itself!" 

Aikari nods he rushes ahead, and Hikari lends him the power to fly, and Aikari then goes and rushes towards the monster. 

His attacks pierce through the monster's body, and he then continues to push his sword towards the monster's body and going to blow it off. 

"Take this! These feelings are overflowing inside each of us. They're lending us this strength and everything! You monster. Won't ever feel the same as us. You won't even beat us. The human. Human with a heart!" 

Aikari lands a strike on the monster and goes to get through the monster. He pushed the sword more and went to pierce through. 

Everything then begins to turn into bright white. 

"Just the hell that I want?" 

"What kind of things do I want to do?" 

"Their wishes? My wishes?" 

"My wish is to be happy with everyone. I want to stay with everyone until the end of my life. And I want to see." 

"I want to see a smile on each of them before I die. That way, I will be more than happy." 

"I want to fight. With everything that I care. The things that I want to protect. Those memories are overflowing inside me. Those people that are dear to me. I want to protect all of it." 

"The ending is now just all up to me. But even if I die for it, then I will be more than happy. Because my dream is to make everyone happy. To make her happy. To make Ardia dream of living on forever. To make all of us happy."
