Chapter 2: The Search Begins

The city of Seoul was far different from the forests of Busan. The towering buildings, the blinding lights, and the overwhelming scent of human life made Jeon Jungkook's wolf restless. He stood at the train station, his sharp eyes scanning the crowd, feeling out of place yet determined.

He's here.

His Alpha, his Taehyung, was somewhere in this concrete jungle. But this time, Jungkook wasn't a weak, desperate omega. He had trained for centuries, sharpened his skills, and prepared for the day he would stand beside his mate once more.

Dressed in all black, with a sleek leather jacket and dark jeans, he blended into the city with ease. He had a plan—get close to Taehyung, make him remember, and take him back to their rightful place.

Kim Enterprises. That was where he needed to be.

At Dock 13...

The air was thick with tension. The shipment had arrived, and the shadows of armed men moved along the dock. Kim Taehyung stood in the center, his long coat billowing slightly as he exhaled a slow stream of smoke from his cigarette. His cold gaze swept over the crates filled with weapons, his presence enough to make men twice his size tremble.

Yoongi stood beside him, his gun loosely held in one hand. "Everything looks clean, but I don't like how quiet it is," he murmured.

Taehyung smirked. "That's because someone's watching."

And just as he spoke, a gunshot rang through the air. The docks erupted into chaos. Men ducked for cover, bullets flying, but Taehyung? He merely tilted his head, his smirk never faltering.

"How predictable."

With the ease of a man who had seen war countless times before, he pulled out his own gun, firing a precise shot that hit the enemy right between the eyes. The man fell, lifeless.

But as the last of the enemies fell, Taehyung's body tensed. A strange feeling swept over him—a pull, deep in his chest. His brows furrowed as he turned his head toward the city.

Why… does it feel like something is coming?
