Yoongi stepped into his apartment, expecting the familiar scent of his mate to greet him. But the air was unsettlingly still.
His wolf tensed immediately. Something was wrong.
He took a slow, deliberate sniff, trying to catch any trace of Jimin's scent, but all he could sense was the lingering odor of humans—strangers. His sharp eyes scanned the space, his heart pounding in his chest as unease settled deep in his gut.
"Jimin?" he called out, his voice echoing in the empty apartment.
No response.
Yoongi's breath quickened. He stormed into the bedroom, the kitchen, even the bathroom—searching for any sign of his mate. But Jimin was gone.
And the lack of any wolf scent confirmed it: Jimin had been kidnapped.
A low growl rumbled in his throat, his fists clenching. Who dared to take his mate? His instincts screamed at him, demanding he tear apart anyone who had touched Jimin.
With shaking hands, he pulled out his phone and immediately dialed Jungkook.
The call connected on the first ring.
"Hyung?" Jungkook's voice came through, tense and alert.
"Jimin's gone," Yoongi hissed, pacing furiously. "Someone took him while I was at work. There's no trace of any wolf—only humans."
There was a sharp silence on the other end before Jungkook cursed under his breath. "I'm on my way."
Jungkook's Confirmation
Fifteen minutes later, Jungkook arrived, his eyes already glowing with restrained fury. He pushed past Yoongi, inhaling deeply as he stepped into the apartment.
It took him mere seconds to catch the scent.
His body went rigid, his jaw tightening as rage built inside him. It was unmistakable.
Yoongi immediately noticed the shift in Jungkook's expression. "What is it?"
Jungkook's lips curled into a snarl, his fists shaking at his sides.
"Taehyung," he muttered, voice laced with pure venom. "Taehyung took him."
Yoongi's eyes darkened, his wolf pushing dangerously close to the surface. "That bastard," he growled. "I'll rip him apart."
Jungkook exhaled sharply, trying to rein in his fury. His mind was racing—why would Taehyung take Jimin? Was it to use him as leverage? To punish Jungkook? Or did he simply want to break him?
One thing was clear.
Jimin was in danger. And they needed to get him back.
