Chapter 21: An Interrupted Interrogation

The heavy doors of the room were suddenly flung open with a loud crash, the force shaking the walls. Before Taehyung could react, a furious Yoongi stormed in, his eyes blazing with unrestrained anger, followed closely by a tense but composed Jungkook. The atmosphere shifted instantly, charged with hostility.

Taehyung barely had time to process their arrival before Yoongi's fist connected with his jaw in a brutal punch, the sharp crack echoing through the room. Taehyung stumbled back, his head snapping to the side, a metallic taste of blood filling his mouth. He licked his split lip, tilting his head slightly, amused despite the force of the hit.

"You bastard!" Yoongi growled, his voice low and dangerous. "How dare you force him to shift?!"

Jungkook, standing between them now, quickly grabbed Yoongi's arm before he could strike again. "Enough," Jungkook said firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument. "We need to get Jimin out of here first."

Jimin, still in his white wolf form, was trembling from exhaustion. His blue eyes darted toward Yoongi, relief washing over him at the sight of his mate. Yoongi immediately moved to his side, his rage momentarily forgotten as he pulled a blanket around Jimin's form. He ran his fingers gently through the wolf's fur, murmuring soft words of comfort.

After a moment, Jimin slowly shifted back into his human form, his body weak and shaking. The torn remnants of his previous clothes were useless, and Yoongi quickly draped a fresh set over him, shielding him from prying eyes. As he helped Jimin dress, his arms instinctively wrapped around his omega, his nose burying against Jimin's neck. A deep, possessive growl rumbled from Yoongi's chest as he inhaled his mate's scent, grounding himself in the familiar warmth.

Jimin let out a shaky breath, leaning into the touch, his own hands clutching at Yoongi's sleeves. Tears welled in his eyes as the realization of what had happened fully sank in.

"He knows everything now," Jimin whispered, his voice trembling. "Taehyung… knows everything."

Jungkook's gaze snapped toward Taehyung, his eyes dark with fury. "Why did you do this?" he demanded, his voice dangerously low.

Taehyung didn't answer immediately. He sat back in his chair, watching the scene unfold, still processing everything he had learned. The truth was beyond anything he had imagined. Werewolves, reincarnations, past lovers—it was insanity, and yet, Jungkook's presence, his very existence, made it all feel real.

Jungkook clenched his fists, his patience running thin. "You had no right to do this to Jimin."

Taehyung smirked, wiping the blood from his lip once more. "I had every right. If you expect me to believe in all of this, I needed proof. And now, I have it."

Yoongi growled lowly, his protective instincts flaring. "You think this is some kind of game, Kim Taehyung?"

Taehyung leaned forward, his sharp eyes locking onto Jungkook's. "No, Jungkook. This is war. And I intend to win."

The air was thick with tension, the weight of everything that had transpired settling between them. Jungkook knew this was just the beginning. Taehyung had the information he wanted, but at what cost? And what would he do with it now?

One thing was certain—this wasn't over. Not even close.
