When they arrived at Xining Road, the sound of the trucks immediately attracted the attention of the zombies, who formed a large group and began walking toward the trucks.

Xining Road was the main route to the busiest business district in Lei City. While it wasn't as busy as the other side of the Lei Jiang Bridge, there were still plenty of zombies. Hundreds of zombies began moving toward the two trucks, creating a terrifying mass of undead.

Among the zombies, ten grayish-blue S1 zombies led the charge, moving with agility like monkeys toward Yue Zhong and his group.

"Ten S1s? Just six days have passed, and they've evolved so quickly? This is terrifying." Yue Zhong watched the ten S1s with a look of horror. When he first came here, there weren't that many zombies, and no S1s existed. In just six days, ten S1s had evolved. If zombies evolved at such a rapid pace, humans wouldn't be able to survive.

"Retreat!" Yue Zhong immediately ordered. Besides the ten S1s, he also saw some L1 zombies in the crowd.

Yue Zhong thought for a moment and said, "Chen Yao, drive back immediately. Ji Qingwu, Lu Wen, and Wang Shuang will stay here to guard the rear. Chi Yang and I will go to check out the situation on Xining Road."

After speaking, Yue Zhong immediately got out of the truck and shared his plan with Ji Qingwu.

Ji Qingwu frowned slightly and said, "Just the two of you? Isn't that too dangerous?"

Among the hundreds of zombies, there were not only S1s but also L1s. A horde with special zombies posed a far greater threat than ordinary zombies. With just Yue Zhong and Chi Yang's current strength, they were still too vulnerable.

However, their battle had caused quite a commotion, and more zombies, attracted by the noise, began to converge toward them, forming a large horde.

Among the zombies, the ten grayish-blue S1s charged toward Yue Zhong, Baigu, and the others from all directions.

"To the left!" Yue Zhong immediately shouted as one of the S1s charged toward them from that direction.

Within a few breaths, Yue Zhong reached the S1's front.

The S1, with the agility of a monkey, leapt high and swiped its claw at Yue Zhong's face.
