Title: Chronicles of Azure

Chapter 2: Skyhaven's Shadows

---

Scene 1: A Desperate Landing

The night sky crackled with electricity as Kael maneuvered his battered hoverboard, holding the unconscious Lyria in one arm. Behind them, the remains of The Starbolt spiraled downward in flames.

Kael cursed under his breath. His ship was gone, his package was a person, and now the Celestial Order and sky pirates would be after him.

The towering city of Skyhaven loomed ahead—a floating metropolis filled with neon lights, spiraling air rails, and hanging marketplaces suspended by massive chains. It was both a beacon of opportunity and a den of cutthroats.

Kael spotted his usual hideout, a small workshop nestled between airship docks. He adjusted his hoverboard and crashed through a rooftop window, rolling onto the floor with Lyria in tow.

Inside, an old, grizzled mechanic—Old Man Vance—looked up from his workbench, cigar in mouth.

"Kid… What the hell did you break this time?"

Kael groaned. "My everything."

Vance exhaled smoke and took in the unconscious silver-haired girl. "...You know bringing in mystery girls never ends well, right?"

Kael sighed. "Yeah, yeah… But I think this one might be special."

Scene 2: Waking Up

Lyria woke to the hum of machinery, her violet eyes scanning the dimly lit workshop. She clutched her head, flashes of unknown memories flickering in her mind—falling… a voice calling her name… darkness.

Kael sat nearby, bandaging his arm. "Hey, you're awake."

Lyria flinched. "Who are you? Where am I?"

Kael raised his hands in surrender. "Relax, I'm the guy who saved you. Name's Kael Ardent—courier, sky racer, all-around trouble magnet."

She sat up, still confused. "I… don't remember anything."

Kael hesitated, then smirked. "Well, that makes two of us. I don't remember why I'm risking my neck for you either."

Lyria looked at her hands. "Back there… I did something strange, didn't I?"

Kael leaned in. "Yeah. You crushed an entire pirate fleet with some kind of gravity magic."

Lyria's eyes widened. "I don't know how I did that…"

Before Kael could press further, a warning light flashed.

Intruders detected.

Kael and Vance exchanged a look.

"Looks like the Order found you, kid," Vance muttered. "Time to move."

Scene 3: Escape Through the Lower Districts

Outside, Celestial Enforcers—elite soldiers clad in white armor with glowing insignias—descended onto the docks. A voice rang through the speakers.

"By decree of the Celestial Order, surrender the fugitive Lyria at once!"

Kael clenched his fists. "Damn, that was fast."

Lyria gripped his sleeve. "They're after me… I don't know why, but I feel like if they take me, I'll never be free again."

Kael grinned. "Then let's not let them, huh?"

Vance threw Kael a grappling gauntlet, and he grabbed Lyria's hand. "Hold on tight!"

With a flick of his wrist, he launched the grapple, yanking them both off the rooftop and into the winding alleys below.

The chase through Skyhaven began.

As they dashed through narrow streets, Kael weaved through crowded markets and leaped over air rails, narrowly dodging enforcers on hover-bikes.

Lyria, still weak but determined, instinctively used her gravity powers, allowing them to wall-run and evade their pursuers.

Just when they thought they had escaped—

A figure in black armor appeared in their path, unsheathing a massive crimson blade.

Rai Kurogane.

His single red eye locked onto Lyria. "You… are coming with me."

Kael stepped forward, raising his Aether Blades. "Yeah? Over my dead body."

Rai smirked. "That can be arranged."
