Chapter 8 : The Curse Of Level Three

[Leaving the Corridor – Entering the New Nightmare]

Nadia was trying to calm herself down, but her heart was pounding violently. Everything she had seen was terrifying—Lamar was dead, Zain had betrayed them and died as well, and the strange creatures were still everywhere.

Youssef (weakly pressing on his wound): "I can't… The bleeding won't stop."

Adam (tying a piece of cloth around his wound): "Hold on, we have to keep moving."

They moved forward. The corridor they had escaped from led to what looked like an ancient courtyard. The ground was cracked, and above them, the sky was pitch black, as if swallowing all light.

Nadia (fearfully): "Where are we?"

Adam (his eyes sharp): "Level three…"

[The New Enemy – The Hidden Truth]

Suddenly, the sound of slow footsteps echoed through the place. A strange noise—like chains being dragged across the ground.

Youssef (his voice shaking): "What… is that?"

And from the darkness… someone appeared.

But not just anyone.

Lamar.

She stood before them, wearing the same clothes, but her eyes were completely black—void of any sign of life.

Nadia (stepping back): "Lamar…?"

Lamar (in a strange voice, as if multiple people were speaking at once): "Why did you run?"

Adam (cautiously raising his weapon): "That's not Lamar… It's a trap!"

But before anyone could move, the ground beneath them suddenly cracked open!

Youssef (screaming as he falls): "Noooo!!"

Nadia (trying to grab him): "Youssef!!!"

But her hand didn't reach him in time. He fell into the dark abyss… and vanished.

Nadia (her eyes filling with tears): "Youssef… is dead?"

Adam (his face cold but his teeth clenched in tension): "We have to move before we end up like him."

[The Final Confrontation – The Struggle to Survive]

Nadia and Adam were the last survivors. Just the two of them. Everyone else had died, one by one. And now, they were facing the worst nightmare of level three… Possessed Lamar.

Nadia (her voice trembling): "Lamar… that's not Lamar, right?"

Adam (seriously, tightening his grip on his weapon): "No. It's just an illusion… or worse."

Lamar (smiling eerily as the darkness around her thickens): "It doesn't matter what you think I am… What matters is that you're not leaving here alive."

And in an instant, everything turned into hell.

To be continued…
